Landscape Landscape Design Of Urban Public Space Based On Maslow’s Hierarchy Of Needs Theory

In the process of social and economic development in recent decades,China has made remarkable achievements in the construction of urban public space,and the overall appearance of urban public space has been greatly improved.But overall,the construction of urban public space in China started late,and still lacks overall planning.This requires designers to make reasonable landscape design according to the suitable population of the site,so that the landscape of urban public space can meet the needs of people’s physiology and psychology.This paper takes Maslow demand level as the starting point,and uses literature review,case practice,case analysis and other methods to carry out landscape design work for urban public space,and to study the landscape construction of urban public space.Based on the summary of the existing theoretical research results,the paper studies the relationship between the demand level theory and the urban public space in the design dimension,and draws the following conclusions:(1)This paper analyzes the system theory from the perspectives of behavioral psychology and environmental psychology,and introduces Maslow demand level theory into public space design,and interprets it as two levels of needs,namely,physiological and safety needs belong to material requirements,social needs,respect needs and self realization needs are divided into spiritual needs.(2)This paper analyzes five levels of demand,and thinks that the application of the theory of demand level in urban public space landscape design is mainly reflected in the following aspects:from the perspective of physiological needs,through the stimulation of human vision,hearing,smell and touch,to meet the basic needs of human environment;The safety requirements are reflected in the safety of water design,plant configuration safety,lighting system,traffic organization and other aspects;Social needs are mainly aimed at different groups of people to create different types of space,create space atmosphere for different types of space,and design some interactive landscape to meet the social needs of people;The respect for demand is to respect people on the spot through personalized elements,identification system and some special facilities;The highest level of self-realization needs,through the shaping of regional,to make the audience have a sense of regional identity,and in the spiritual level and all the further intersection.(3)In the practice part,taking Qianhai public space as an example,this paper designs the public space of Qianhai city in Shenzhen from the above two levels,and grasps the internal relationship between human environmental needs and public space,designs a more dynamic and humanized public space,and then meets the material and spiritual needs of public life.This paper,by establishing the hierarchical model of human environmental needs,explores the relationship between human needs and urban public space in the design dimension,aiming to solve the problem that the combination of human needs and public space is not high in urban public space,so as to explore the key of urban public space shaping,and provide theoretical reference for the same type of urban public space landscape.
