Research On Performance Evaluation Of G Company’s Working Capital Management From The Perspective Of Value Chain

With the gradual saturation of the home appliance market share,competition among home appliance companies has become increasingly fierce.In order to gain a competitive advantage and complete the transformation task,G Company has put forward extremely high requirements on the level of working capital management.The status of working capital circulation is directly related to the efficiency of the enterprise.In view of this,it is necessary to carry out a comprehensive and reasonable performance evaluation of working capital management in order to fully and truly reflect the level of corporate working capital management.In recent years,value chain ideas have been gradually applied to business operations.The application of value chain theory to the performance evaluation of working capital management is to upgrade working capital management to the strategic management level of the company,and to evaluate the level of corporate working capital management from the overall perspective.Therefore,G Company urgently needs to evaluate the performance of working capital management from the perspective of the value chain,so that it can fully grasp the current management level,strengthen its advantages,make up for shortcomings,and achieve a smooth transformation and upgrading.This article first sorts out the research status at home and abroad,and elaborates the relevant theories needed for follow-up research;secondly,sorts out the current status of G company working capital management performance evaluation,and found that there are mainly two problems:the lack of a comprehensive system evaluation system and the incomplete evaluation indicators.In view of this,it was decided from the perspective of the value chain to build an evaluation system using the analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the level of corporate working capital management.Specifically,11 evaluation indicators are selected based on the working capital risk of the external value chain,the working capital efficiency of the internal value chain,the working capital stability of the internal value chain,and the profitability of the working capital of the value chain.The vertical data from 2015 to 2019 are selected.In contrast,quantitatively evaluate the working capital management level of G company,and obtain the evaluation result that the working capital management level of G company needs to be improved.Finally,in order to effectively improve the working capital management level,analyze the evaluation results and combine the actual situation of the company to propose a perfect value chain perspective Measures to evaluate the performance of working capital management,including establishing a corporate culture of working capital management from the perspective of the internal value chain,building a working capital management system from the perspective of the value chain,actively broadening online marketing and strengthening the synergy of marketing channels,and improving use efficiency of working capital and optimize the structure of working capital,optimize supplier management strategy from the perspective of external value chain,and strengthen customer credit management.This article focuses on the research and analysis of the performance evaluation of corporate working capital management,and incorporates value chain theory into the specific research.The research results can help G company to more clearly define the working capital management activities that have a negative impact on the company’s operations,and can better improve working capital in the future.Management level,to ensure the maximization of benefits in each operation link,and enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise.Due to the extremely high pressure on the transformation and upgrading of home appliance enterprises,from the perspective of the value chain,the results of working capital management performance evaluation will surely become an important criterion for the success of the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.I hope this article can provide reference for the future development of G company and other companies in the same industry.
