With the continuous improvement of armor protection technology,the requirement for armor breaking is increasing at this stage.The emergence of double-layer liner solves the problem of low utilization rate of single-layer liner material.Therefore,in this paper,the formation mechanism and penetration performance of double-layer liner with shaped charge jet are deeply studied.Firstly,through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation method,the influence laws of cone angle,wall thickness and charge height of double-layer liner on jet forming were studied;the influence factors of inner and outer cover materials on jet performance were studied;and the double-layer liner with metal,non-metal-copper and tantalum was simulated.When copper is used as inner cover,jet performance is better than that of tantalum inner cover moulding charge;when changing cover material to aluminum,nickel and steel,at the same time,the jet energy of steel-copper cover is the highest and the jet performance of steel-copper cover is better than that of aluminum-copper and nickelcopper;although the jet speed of non-metallic cover is higher,the jet form of nonmetallic cover is poor,and the jet formed by the combination of nylon,polyethylene and tantalum is easy to break and fly early.The jet performance and shape of metal cover are better than that of non-metal cover.Subsequently,the influence rule of thickness matching of inner and outer covers on jet performance was studied.Through the numerical simulation of metal and non-metalcopper cover,the jet performance gradually increases with the increase of cover thickness within a certain range when the cover thickness is greater than the inner cover thickness under the same total wall thickness.Finally,taking 40 mm caliber armor-piercing projectile as an example,the penetration performance of metal and non-metal shaped charge to target plate is explored.The results show that the jet has better penetration ability and deeper penetration depth when the cover of double-layer shaped charge is metal.
