Landscape Design Of Shaoshan Nirvana Park

After the reform and opening up,China’s urbanization process is accelerated,with the hollowing of rural areas,more and more villages have become "hollow villages".The infrastructure of many villages has not been updated and developed,and has been abandoned with the leaving of the remaining population.At the same time,empty nesters and left behind children have also become social problems,backward village appearance and facilities can not meet their life,entertainment,social needs.How to update the function of the village,transform the backward appearance,preserve the original historical traces and memory of the local village,and avoid becoming a general village without characteristics in batches,are the key problems that we need to solve in our research.Shaoshan Nirvana park is located in Fengxing village,Yanglin Township,Shaoshan City,Xiangtan City,10 kilometers away from Shaoshan City.The original Fengxing school,village headquarters,clinics and village activity center in Fengxing village are the main functional areas of daily study and life of Fengxing village and nearby residents.After being demolished,they need to be rebuilt in the park.These functional bodies bear the deep memory of the nearby villagers for this land,and also witness the rebirth and aging of many people.They are the sustenance of function and emotion.However,with the relocation of schools and village departments,only a piece of wasteland is left,and the original activity places have disappeared.We need to retain the original memory,and reshape the villagers’ memory in the new form of new Chinese community park.This paper first introduces and explains the new Chinese style park,community park and other related concepts to clarify the function and concept of Nirvana park;secondly,through the case study of related parks at home and abroad,it further summarizes the concept and method of park design,and summarizes the design principles of the park;finally,it conducts field investigation and Research on the location of Nirvana Park in Shaoshan City,according to the daily needs of local villagers According to the needs of daily activities and spiritual activities,this paper puts forward the goal of this design,and makes the overall design of Nirvana Park in Shaoshan City,including functional planning zoning,landscape design,cultural element design,plant planting and landscape sketch design.
