Application And Expression Research Of Qin Culture In Urban Ecological Park

Environment protection has become a popular topic in this era. The ecological park construction project can be found in many cities. During an ecological park design, the integration of local traditional culture with ecology is regarded as a “human ecology”.As the first dynasty in Chinese history, Qin Dynasty has a considerable impact on today’s life and culture. It is of great value to analyze and study the culture of Qin Dynasty, and integrate its cultural and artistic characteristics with modern landscape design. The feature of art as well as its metaphor in Qin Dynasty has a profound impact on today’s artistic techniques. It gives strong hints about the pseudo-classic landscape design.This paper consists of empirical and desk-based research. The major techniques include document analysis, field research, summarizing and case study. It starts with a literature review on the origin of Qin culture as well as its features of spirit, art, landscape, architecture, color and martial spirit. It is critical to create an in-depth understanding of the nature of Qin culture. Then this paper presents an analysis of the relatedness between Qin culture and modern ecological park, and discusses the principles, techniques and application of Qin’s legacy on the design of ecological park. Finally this paper proposes a design of Zhiyang Lake Ecological Park by analyzing the data collected in fieldwork and secondary resources, which includes resource allocation analysis and government report. The proposed design is based on the exploratory research. It is an integration of ecology and culture, focusing on human wellbeing. This paper argues that ecology and culture are not separated topics. By adding features of traditional culture into the design of ecological park, it would help to achieve “human ecology”.Finally come to the conclusion: Ecology and culture are not two separate concepts, put forward the concept of "human ecology",integration into the local traditional culture in the ecological park. Qin culture has been deeply excavated and analyzed.Under the background of the present times, the traditional culture elements are sublimation and expression, which makes it more meaningful and valuable. Landscape elements in traditional culture expression is an art of re creation process, absorb the spirit of traditional culture and elements, the use of modern ideas and means to create integration of traditional culture and the flavor of the times of urban historical and cultural landscape.The author hopes that this paper is helpful in the design of pseudo-classic landscape of ecological park.
