| The automotive industry chain has seen an inflection point after a long-term growth since 2018,in order to gain more business in the increasingly fierce market,price reduction has become the first choice of most automobile manufacturers,as a result,it is facing increasing cost pressure in the entire automotive industry chain,the focus of customers has gradually shifted from quality priority to cost priority.T company specializes in the production of bearing steel balls,most of which are used in automobile hub bearing and transmission bearing.Affected by the overall environment of the automobile manufacturing industry,the quality cost of T company,especially the cost of poor quality,remains high,as a result,the disadvantage of product price compared with competitors has a more prominent impact on market share,not only can new projects not be obtained because of the price,but some of mass production projects also begin to lose gradually,which seriously threatens the survival and development of T company.the main purpose of this paper is through quality management theory,while effectively using quality tools,analysis of the main problems and causes of cost of poor quality,in order to improve customer satisfaction,and then improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the market.This paper investigates the steel ball products and process of T company based on the case study method,analyzes the data of the related poor-quality cost,and identifies the key problems which produce quality cost,including soft cuts problem,supplier management of auxiliary material and high equipment failure rate.Using a variety of quality tools and methods,such as 4M1 E method,process management,PDCA,8D,QC activity,to find the cause of the main problems affecting poor quality cost,then take actions to ensure that the improvement plan is implemented to the relevant responsible person and finally reduce the cost by improving the process quality.This paper finds that the cost of poor quality has been effectively controlled through the implementation of systematic corrective measures,and the cost of poor quality of T company has decreased significantly,the manufacturing cost is effectively reduced,and makes it possible to reduce the price of products,thus further consolidating the dominant position of T Company in the bearing steel balls industry. |
