The pipeline system consisting of air cooling pipeline,oil pipeline and fuel pipeline is just like the blood vessels of the human body to transport fluid and energy for the vehicle,which plays an important role in maintaining the dynamic performance and safe driving of the vehicle.Due to vibration excitation of engine and road surface,interference and friction between pipe and surrounding parts occur.Once the pipeline is damaged,the safety of vehicles will be directly affected.Winding the spiral sheath on the easily worn parts of the pipeline is an effective protective measure to prevent the pipeline from wearing and destroying.The traditional production process is to first elbow the straight pipe section,then manually wind the spiral sheath on the easily abraded position,and finally assemble the pipe fittings,and pack them into the warehouse after the pressure test.The production efficiency of manual winding sheath process is low,and the winding effect varies from person to person,which is contrary to the lean production requirements of enterprises.Therefore,it is necessary to upgrade the existing pipeline assembly process for improving the production efficiency of the products.In this paper,on the basis of proposing a spiral sheath winding pre-processing technology,a spiral sheath automatic winding equipment is developed.The specific research work is as follows:Firstly,the heat conduction,convection heat transfer,radiation heat transfer and other heat transfer modes involved in the pipeline thermal forming process were studied.The thermal forming simulation analysis of the pipe section after the spiral sheath winding was carried out by using the finite element method.It is determined that the thermoforming process time of the pipeline after the spiral sheath is wound before is: heating time 21 min,cooling time 9min.Secondly,analyze the production requirements of the winding spiral sheath,determine the applicable scope of the winding system,the winding process flow and related technical parameters,and propose a specific plan design.The designed spiral sheath winding equipment consists of an action mechanism,a guiding mechanism and an automatic feeding mechanism.The system takes PLC as the control core,and sets winding speed,winding time and working mode through touch screen.By adjusting the groove width,the spiral sheath can be automatically wound for 6-22 mm thermoplastic pipe.Finally,according to the designed winding system combined with ergonomics,the on-site station design is carried out;and the winding system is tested.The experimental results show that: under the condition of the same number of the same sheath,the comprehensive winding efficiency of the machine is about 10 times of that of the manual winding,and the working efficiency of the winding system is completely better than that of the manual winding.The spiral sheath winding pre-processing technology and sheath automatic winding equipment have been promoted and applied in many vehicle supporting manufacturers.
