A medical blister PVC thermoforming product, based on a certain thermoforming machine (system supporting machine), is chosen as the research object through this subject. The ANSYS POLYFLOW software was applied to operate plug-assisted thermoforming and pressure thermoforming process numerical simulation, analyzing the wall thickness variation of products in the two different process of thermoforming as well as verifying the reliability of the simulation analysis through comparing with the actual product test results. The numerical simulation technology is used to analyze the process conditions, mold parameter and the order of thermoforming, etc., which have a great influence on the wall distribution of thermoforming products. Finally, the results of simulation could be used in enterprises to do improved research and development in further production.Through the main process parameters of thermoforming products are analyzed by numerical simulation technology, those conclusion can be reached: the wall thickness of the thermoforming products with different depth and shapes will be well-distributed according to adopt the appropriate pre-stretching depth value, therefore, the medical blister products obtain the best thermoforming pre-stretching depth value of 6.5 mm: The wall thickness distribution can be improved by appropriately increasing draft and the radius between side wall and bottom wall of the mold; However, Changing the extension rate have a little effects on the wall thickness distribution of the blister products; the order of process has a great influence.
