The construction scales of new particle accelerators are even larger,which requests higher requirements both for measurement accuracy and efficiency.However,it is often difficult for a single device to simultaneously meet the conditions of high measurement accuracy and efficiency.Hence,it is essential to conduct a research on the data fusion combining different measurement sensors or instruments.Focusing on this topic,this paper mainly refers to the following sub-points:First,the principles,types,and characteristics of the primary measurement sensors in alignment measurement,including the wire position sensor,the Inclination Sensor,the hydrostatic levelling system,the laser tracker and the photogrammetric system,are analyzed.Second,the measurement principle of the Reference Network of Alignment system is illustrated.The systematic errors and the data fusion of on-site alignment installation and real-time deformation monitoring are also depicted.The test data are utilized to calculate the systematic error,and the error of magnetic central line after the alignment installation procedure.Thirdly,the measurement principles of the laser tracker and the photogrammetric system are studied,and the measurement models of these sensors are deduced,including the measurement models of the laser tracker based on the original observations and the coordinate observations,and the photogrammetric system based on the self-calibration bundle adjustment Meanwhile,the combined model and long-distance constraint combined model are proposed.Finally,according to the simulation and on-site experimental data,the feasibility of the proposed combined algorithm is verified in the scenes of a single target and linear tunnel.The comparison with conventional direct data transformation indicates the reliability of the proposed algorithm.This paper analyzes the performance of data fusion in particle accelerator alignment measurement.This research can provide sufficient reference data for the research on improving work efficiency in this field,and also lay a perlimanary foundation for future research.
