| Nowadays,although China has been already a large country about civil aviation,it is not a real civil aviation powerful nation.The transfer connection rates of China’s hub airports are not high enough,this is closely related to the low efficiency of transit at hub airports.In order to improve the efficiency of hub airports,we must first correctly evaluate the efficiency of them,and the key technology to improve the quality of transfer connections is optimizing flight bankings.Therefore,this paper establishes the topic of “Research on Evaluation of Operational Efficiency of International Air Passenger Transport Hub and Optimization Design of Flight Banking”,with the aim of helping airport authorities to build international hubs in a targeted manner and help providing a basis for airlines about making decision for developing hub site selection and optimizing the international transportation network structure.To enhance the international competitiveness of China’s hub airports.The main research work carried out in this paper is as follows:(1)Carrying out the evaluation of the operation efficiency about international air passenger transport hubs.Three data envelopment analysis(DEA)models are respectively applied to the operational efficiency evaluation of international air passenger transport hub:DEA with variable returns to scale from the perspective of output,non-radial DEA model with variable returns to scale,and non-radial super-efficiency DEA model with variable returns to scale.Two index systems with or without hub characteristics were constructed.The data of airports with a throughput of over 10 million in mainland China in 2018 were used to conduct empirical research.The analysis found that the transfer and connection operation efficiency is low,and the characteristics of the hub are not obvious;(2)Carrying out the optimization design of the flight banking of the hub airports.Taking the maximum number of flights that can be connected as the objective function,taking into account the uniqueness of arrival flights’ and take-off flights’ schedule adjustments,the maximum and minimum transfer time,the size of the time interval before and after arrival flights’ and take-off flights’ adjustment,establish a flight banking optimization design model and adopt the domestic airports’ data on empirical research.It is concluded that this method can be used for flight banking optimization about international hub airports. |
