Research On The Application Of Regional Cultural Elements In Urban Street Landscape Design

The street is the living room of the city,and it is the embodiment of a city’s regional characteristics and urban character.However,under the macro background of urbanization construction,the street landscape space of most cities and towns in China has gradually lost its original regional cultural characteristics,lacking cultural temperature and humanistic feelings,and regional cultural characteristics are also disappearing.This article takes the street landscape of Chengguan District,Lanzhou City as the research object,and grasps its basic situation and current situation through literature search,field investigation,questionnaire survey,etc.,analyzes and draws on relevant successful cases,and combines theory with practice.Research on the application process of Lanzhou’s regional cultural elements in the street landscape of Chengguan District.First,it explains the related concepts and basic theories of regional culture and urban street landscape,as well as the importance of regional culture to urban street landscape;secondly,analyzes the urban profile of Lanzhou and the street landscape of Chengguan District,and summarizes the existing problems of street landscape.The application value and urgency of the regional cultural elements;again,the extraction of the regional cultural elements of Lanzhou and its application methods and strategies in the street landscape of Chengguan District are studied;finally,the landscape design of the pedestrian street of Zhangye Road in the Chengguan District of Lanzhou City is taken as an example,To prove the theories and methods summarized in this article through practice.Under the background of regional culture,conduct empirical research on the application theory of regional elements,and reflect on the application of regional cultural elements in urban street landscape design.
