Due to the characteristics of high-speed flow and the gathering of crowds, subway has gradually become the urban rail transit tool with high utilization rate among urban residents. As an important node of urban rail transit network, subway station architecture plays an important role in inheriting urban culture and displaying regional characteristics in addition to meeting people’s architectural space needs for transit. In the context of the rapid development of urban subway construction, subway stations in many cities adopt standardized design patterns, which leads to the phenomenon of similarity between different lines and even stations in different cities, and the lack of expression of the characteristics of their respective sites. At present, the design of subway station architecture is still in the stage of active exploration.Although many cities have begun to pay attention to the expression of the characteristics of subway station architecture, most of them pay attention to the expression of the regional environment and culture from the perspective of the city or region as a whole, and less to the exploration of the site environment and context. Therefore, guided by the theory of "in-situ",this thesis discusses the design factors influencing the in-situ of subway station buildings, and puts forward the design strategies of in-situ,in order to meet the symbiotic needs of subway station buildings and site environment, arouse people’s insitu perception of the regional characteristics of the station, and expand the creative design ideas of subway station buildings. This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first and second chapters analyze the origin, development and architectural practice of "in-situ",and summarize four basic elements of in-situ design: environment, humanity, ecology and construction. At the same time, the functional attributes, architectural composition and spatial characteristics of the subway station buildings are discussed in detail.Combined with the literature collection and field research of the subway station buildings at home and abroad, the thesis explores and excavates the design methods and existing problems of the humanistic history and the expression of the spirit of the place. The third chapter,on the basis of sorting out the "in-situ" and the subway station building and related theoretical content and architectural practice, clarifies the requirements of in-situ design of subway station building, and summarizes the design elements and principles of insitu design of subway station building. The fourth chapter sums up the design strategy of subway station building’s locality from four aspects: the local-response of site environment, the local-inheritance of historical context, the local-integration of green ecology and the local-application of construction technology. The fifth and sixth chapters optimize the local design of Erqi Square Station and Zijing Mountain Station of Zhengzhou Line 1 from the aspects of environment, humanity and ecological construction, and summarize the research results and practice. |
