Coexist And Deviate Of Landscape

This paper introduces landscape anthropology to discuss rural tourism.Landscape anthropology defines space as a resource environment delineated by countries and governments in order to achieve political and economic goals,and the place as the living environment of the local people who are formed through blood or neighborhood social relations and carry common memory.Kawai-hironao put forward the theory of "multi-phase law" suggests to explore what social conditions lead to space and place coexist or deviates.This paper chooses Jinan Menya scenic spot as field point,to distinguish the landscape constitute from the space and place,and then discusses the conditions of coexist or deviate between the space and place.This paper suggests that:(1)Menya scenic spot were spontaneously built by local with the access from southern mountains to inner city.Local still highly accept the scenic spot although it now is very different from the beginning and many local had quit operation.This is the basis of the space and place to coexist.(2)When government put forward the reconstruction plan,operators disagreed at first for the high cost but finally agreed because the plan can indeed solve many realistic problems.After the transformation,the landscape on the government drawings has been produced and completely replacing the business premises spontaneously constructed by local people,however,the change of landscape does not mean fracture,and the core of business has not disappeared.(3)Operators thought they are running restaurants while consumers,media and government thought that are Nongjiale.So operators use the pollution-free product make the qualified Nongjiale meal to meeting consumers’ rural expectation while enables themself to make money.In the process of space production,the meaning of place also has room for extension.(4)Operators purchase amusement equipment not only to provide tourists with better leisure experience,but also the way to pursue modernization.It’s also a way for space and place to coexist by appropriating the symbols of the external space as their own under the premise of conforming to their inner place meaning.When the principles are destroyed,the balance may face a crisis,which is also the reason why the operation of Nongjiale almost fell into a halt in the later period of this study.
