Economic Development needs a large amount of as energy support,efficient energy production for the power system capacity planning,safe operation,energy efficiency and other aspects of higher requirements.In recent years,the occurrence of abandoned hydropower has attracted the attention of government departments and the public.We will reduce the amount of hyfropower that is abandoned,improve energy efficiency,and implement the policy of conserving energy and reducing emissions.Therefore,this paper starts from the theoretical method and practical application,takes the improvement of intelligent algorithm and the innovation of application and model as the research means,and focuses on the two aspects of power system power balance model and reducing the amount of abandoned hydropower.The main research contents and corresponding achievements of this paper include:(1)research on the annual power balance model algorithm with the minimum hydropower abandoned.Based on the genetic algorithm,this paper presents an improved genetic algorithm aiming at the operation characteristics of hydrothermal power station in different periods.The improved genetic algorithm is mainly to solve the initial solution generated in the quality is not high and mutation operation of community information under-utilization shortcomings,based on the different power station set up the initial probability matrix to improve the quality of the population initialization and use the gaussian distribution to fit the distribution of population genetic information,prompting algorithm can out of local optimum,further enhance the global search ability.In this paper,the coupling of genetic algorithm,successive approximation algorithm and successive load cutting method will be improved,and the maintenance plan,reserve capacity configuration and working capacity configuration will be solved step by step.Through the example calculation,the improved power balace algorithm is less than the conventional one,which verifies the effectiveness and rationality of the improved power balance algorithm in solving the optimal power supply configuration.(2)research on the daily power balance model considering the loss of hydropower abandoned quantity.In this paper,the opportunity loss caused by water abandonment is included in the analysis of the combined optimal operation of hydrothermal power system,and various complex constraints,such as the constraints of hydrothermal power climbing slope and the constraints of vibration zone of hydrothermal,are taken into account to construct the daily power balance model of hydrothermal power with the minimum sum of the operation cost and the opportunity loss of water and fire power.The nonlinear constraints in the model are transformed into linearized constraints,and the branch and bound method built in the commercial optimization software CPLEX is used to solve the problem.Simulation is carried out for a certain area during the flood season,and the example results show that,according to the optimal strategy under this optimization criterion,although the operation cost of thermal power has increased,the amount of abandoned water and electricity has been greatly reduced,the utilization rate of water and electricity has been significantly improved,and the calculation results are more in line with the actual situation.
