| With the improvement of material living standards,product design should consider not only basic functionality of products,but also consumers’ perceptual demands.Styling of product not only shows its appearance characteristics,but also reflects the perceptual factors of the product.The perceptual research on product styling is an important research area of product styling design.In the research of perceptual design of products,the kansei Engineering theory proposed by Japanese scholars is the most representative.This subject takes the product styling as the research object,and takes the bicycle styling design as the starting point.The subject researchs product styling design method based on kansei Engineering and Genetic Algorithm.The research of the subject is divided into three stages.The first stage is based on the kansei Engineering theory in product design,establishing a bicycle perceptual words database and morphological feature database,establishing a quantitative relationship model between two database by using quantitative theory,and give suggestions about prodcut styling design;the second stage is based on Genetic Algorithm theory,transforming product morphological features into Genetic Algorithm genotypes,establishing fitness function based on kansei Engineering prediction model,and proposing it based on perceptual engineering and Genetic Algorithm;The third stage is based on the conclusions of the first and second stages of research,studies the human-machine characteristics of product design,builds framework of the interactive styling design auxiliary system,develops a software system based on the Windows platform,and verifies feasibility of the styling design assistant system through design examples.(1)The product styling design method based on perceptual engineering and genetic algorithm has the following advantages: 1.It can transform the perceptual demand into morphological elements,which gives guidance in product styling design;2.The introduction of Genetic Algorithm shows that the method has global search capabilities,Which expands the diversity and possibility of product styling design;3.The design method using modern computer technology is more efficiency and accuracy,it effectively improves the efficiency and quality of product styling design.(2)The interactive styling design assistant system can efficiently and accurately help designer design product styling.The system is constructed by analyzing the human-machine characteristics in the design process.It introduces the designer’s subjective judgment factors,and the system will adjust the styling design parameters according to the designer’s feedback.The conclusion shows that the system can combine the advantages of algorithm optimization and designer’s subjective judgment to give a more reasonable styling design.The system has a visualization module,and the operation process is simple and convenient,indicating that the system has feasibility and practical value. |
