Under the background of the new era,the important position and role of vocational education is more and more prominent.As a compulsory basic course for students majoring in mechanical and electrical engineering,the teaching of hydraulic transmission technology has always been a difficulty in the teaching of mechanical and electrical engineering in secondary vocational schools.With the development of computer simulation technology,professional simulation software can be used to simulate the execution process and control analysis of hydraulic transmission on computer.In order to improve the teaching quality of this course in secondary vocational schools,this study combines simulation technology with actual teaching,applies simulation teaching method to teaching practice,explores the teaching method reform of this course,guides students to explore their own learning and improves the teaching effect.In this study,the students of the Mechanical and Electrical Department of a secondary vocational school in Guizhou Province are taken as the research objects,and the current situation of secondary vocational students’ learning is investigated by interview and questionnaire.Based on the analysis and research of domestic and foreign literature,combined with the theoretical knowledge and practice of secondary vocational students,AMESim simulation software is selectedas the teaching platform.For some typical cases,the detailed simulation teaching design is carried out,and then the teaching experiment research is carried out.In the teaching experiment,the 2018 industrial robot class 1 in the Mechanical and Electrical Department of the school is taken as the experimental class,and the robot class 2 is taken as the control class.The number of students in the two classes is similar,and they are students of the same grade.The knowledge base is basically the same.After a semester of comparative teaching experiment,questionnaire and test paper are used to analyze and compare the changes of students’ learning interest,learning attitude,learning ability and theoretical achievement,and verify the application effect of simulation teaching method.The research results show that it is reasonable and effective to introduce simulation teaching method into the teaching of hydraulic transmission technology in secondary vocational school.It can stimulate students’ interest in learning,correct students’ learning attitude,improve students’ enthusiasm for learning,cultivate students’ learning ability and so on,which provides reference for the application of simulation in the teaching of other professional courses.At the same time,the experimental results also show that the simulation teaching method has little effect on improving students’ academic performance.Therefore,the research on simulation teaching method needs to be further developed.
