The first choice of modern enterprise management is strategic management,which plays an important role in the medium and long-term development of large enterprises in China.The electric power industry is the basic industry related to the people’s livelihood of our country.From the monopoly form in the initial stage to the direction of state-owned as the main body and various types of economic components coexisting.China’s electric power industry has gone through different stages of structural reform,from the early stage with a strong monopoly color,gradually transformed into the current stage with obvious market characteristics of electric power enterprises.Jilin Electric Power Co.,Ltd.is a large state-owned holding thermal power generation enterprise.It will also face a series of development problems under the new electric power reform system.How to use the strategic management theory to actively promote the development of enterprises into a new generation of clean power generation enterprises is an urgent issue for the development of enterprises at this stage.In this paper,Jilin Electric Power Co.,Ltd.at this stage of the actual business situation and the external environment as the starting point of research,using systematic strategic theory and methods,discuss and analyze the development strategy in line with the actual situation of the company,and achieve the purpose of combining theory and practice.First of all,based on the current situation of the power industry,this study expounds the significance of studying the strategic development of enterprises under the current market environment;secondly,it analyzes the macro external environment,industry environment and market environment that Jilin Electric Power Co.,Ltd.is currently facing,and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the company’s internal environment in combination with the actual situation of the company There are opportunities and threats in the medium and long term development.In the research process,PEST analysis,Porter’s five forces analysis model and SWOT analysis strategy analysis tools are used to make a comprehensive analysis of the company’s internal and external environment,to clarify the company’s own advantages and opportunities,and the company’s disadvantages and future development threats.Thirdly,after systematic analysis,the development strategy proposed in this study is: relying on the advantages of controlling shareholders,integrating internal and external assets,resources and business,strengthening the core industry of electric power,implementing the rapid expansion strategy;extending the industrial chain,actively developing related industries,and implementing related diversified operation;at the same time,adopting modern scientific management mode,reducing production and operation costs,and enhancing core competition Strive for strength and implement cost leading strategy.Finally,the paper puts forward the specific safeguard measures for the implementation of the strategy.
