High voltage circuit breaker is the key equipment in power transmission lines,which plays an important role in controlling and protecting the power system.The hydraulic operating mechanism acting as drive part in the high voltage circuit breaker is the core basic component.The working performance and quality of the operating mechanism directly determine the performance and reliability of the high voltage circuit breaker in the closing and opening operation.The hydraulic operating mechanism does not directly drive the interrupter,but it drives the interrupter indirectly through a linkage mechanism.The displacement,velocity,acceleration and force outputs act on the moving contact by hydraulic cylinder after they are amplified by linkage mechanism.The hydraulic operating mechanism of the high voltage circuit breaker is taken as the research object in this paper.Based on a specific background and applications of hydraulic operating mechanism,a transmission system of the hydraulic system is drawn out,the working pressure of the system is selected.the sizes of the working cylinder and the piston are calculated,the disc spring energy accumulator is designed and the structure of the linkage mechanism is analyzed.The 3-D model of the hydraulic operating mechanism is built using UG in the paper.After the model is completed,according to the flow continuity principle,thermal resistance characteristics,the dynamics theory of active components and empirical formula,the mathematical model of hydraulic operating mechanism.is established,including disc spring energy accumulator mechanism,step type buffer mechanism and linkage mechanism.Using MATLAB.Simulink in MATLAB and ADAMS simulation software,the simulation model of the hydraulic operating mechanism of high voltage circuit breaker is established.The kinematic characteristic and dynamic characteristic in opening and closing of the moving contact of high voltage circuit breaker is analyzed.The kinematic characteristic is the analysis of displacement.velocity and acceleration.In the end,the results of simulation analysis is compared with the theoretical results.The results of the comparison verify the correctness of the simulation model.
