The perception of space environment is the process by which human body contact the environment, and is also an important way for users to understand the building.Tadao Ando once said: "To truly understand architecture, you must experience its space through your own senses." At the same time, research has shown that the perception of the space environment will also affect the user’s emotions, behavior and health.Life plays an important role for human production. As a comprehensive,multi-category and cross-disciplinary discipline, the impact of space on user perception is complex and multifaceted. This paper starts from the basic attribute of scale, the architectural property, and simplifies the problem to explore its partial influence mechanism.Based on the architectural design data set and building codes, this paper sets up nine typical spatial scales and builds a simulation environment.96 experimental people were recruited to conduct subjective questionnaire tests and physiological parameter measurement experiments in the experimental cabin of Tianjin University. The quantitative relationship between scale and user perception. Then, based on the experimental results,it is subdivided into 32 scale space models and simulate the energy consumption, which can provide an experimental basis for low-energy design strategies based on spatial context perception.Based on comprehensive experiments and simulation data, the paper concludes that spatial scale has a significant impact on user emotions and behaviors. The functional space-6mx6 m small office space conditions,3.5m height working space is most suitable and use the least energy consumption.Patio space-12mx12 m mediumsized leisure space,7m height working condition is the optimal solution, suitable for entertainment functions, and meets the requirements of construction modularization.
