The deviant behavior among construction workers causes waste,endangers building safety,increases the construction and operation costs of construction projects.It is a key risk affecting the performance of construction projects.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify its occurrence mechanism and thus provide a theoretical basis for its effective governance and improve the efficiency of the construction industry.This thesis used CiteSpace to visually analyze the keywords related to influencing factors of deviant behavior.According to the changes of high-frequency keywords in different time periods,the research hotspots and evolution trends of the influencing factors of bias behavior are analyzed.On this basis,a new angle to explain the occurrence of construction workers’ deviation behavior – leader-member relationship – is obtained.Secondly,due to the unique operating environment of construction industry and construction projects,as well as the special work content of construction workers,mature scales of deviant behavior generated in other industries cannot reveal the deviant behavior among construction workers.To this end,this thesis designed a measurement scale of deviant behavior specifically for construction workers.Deviant behaviors related to construction workers in the literature are extracted,then the items are revised through observation and expert interview.The initial items are corrected according to the results of a pre-survey.The reliability and validity analysis was carried out based on the formal survey results.Thus a scientific measurement scale that captures the deviant behavior of construction workers was obtained.Finally,this thesis explored the occurrence mechanism of deviant behavior among construction workers from the perspective of leader-member relationship.The existing explanations from the angle of leader-member relationship focus mainly on working relationship.This thesis explored the impact of both work and personal part of leadermember relationship.Empirical results show that working relationship and personal relationship both have a negative impact on the deviant behavior among construction workers.The better the personal relationship,the stronger the negative correlation between working relationship and deviant behavior.This thesis provides a new set of tools for the scientific measurement of deviant behavior among construction workers,and reveals the influence mechanism of leadermember relationship on it from the two dimensions of work relationship and personal relationship.The research results also provide a theoretical basis for construction project managers to control deviant behavior among construction workers in advance.
