Abstract/Summary:
The essence of design lies in creation and innovation,especially for product design(industrial design),whether it is product form,method or function,all need materials to carry the material foundation.There are many methods and ways to intervene in product design,but materials occupy a very important position in it.Materials and product design are mutually apparent.Products require materials as a bearing expression.Materials express their own characteristics through product design.The two are inseparable.In contemporary product design,the research on materials is far from enough to focus only on the material’s physical and chemical properties,and various perceptions and experiences should also become important measures.Studying the perception and experience of materials can greatly broaden the boundaries of product design and bring new directions to product design.The research theme of this article is the research and practice of daily portable product experience design based on material perception,combing and analyzing through previous experience,clarifying the relationship between materials and material perception and product design,and discovering the design elements related to material perception and their product experience Based on this,the material perception is introduced into the product design process to study its introduction characteristics,principles and process construction,and the practical demonstration is carried out with daily portable product design.The research is divided into the following six aspects:The first three chapters of this article are based on theoretical research.Aiming at this topic,the research background,research status,research purpose and significance,research content and method are elaborated one by one,and the research related to perception and experience is cut from the theoretical aspect.By sorting out the relationship between materials and products and the current unity of materials involvement in product design processes,the current research on perception and experience,material perception and daily convenience products is elaborated,and the introduction of material perception into product design can expand its boundaries And bring new perspectives to it,at the same time,on the basis of predecessors,analyze the experience of material perception,touch,and other multiple sensory synthesis and emotional aspects,and summarize and summarize the four principles.The third chapter focuses on the research and analysis of daily portable product design,and determines its design positioning including experience vision positioning(material mental softening)and material refinement selection(beech)to provide a basis for subsequent research.Chapters 4 and 5 of this article are experimental chapters.Through the experience vision and research materials identified above,the goal is to achieve the material’s psychological softening,and the wood(beech)as the target material,to study the key elements of the material’s visual and tactile perception and its relationship with psychological softening,and to determine the digital The i Pad case in the product protection case is the object,and the practical demonstration is carried out through three sets of design schemes.The article concludes with a summary and outlook.Summarize and summarize the author’s questions,solutions and verification roads in this research,and at the same time reflect on the deficiencies in the research process and look forward to future development.
