| As an important milestone of the "transportation revolution" in the world today, the high-speed railway is the most effective way to solve the problem of rapid transportation of large numbers of passengers on large corridors due to the "time-space compression" effect caused by rapid and convenient transportation.Throughout China, the Chinese government, planners and research scholars have long focused on transportation infrastructure construction and regional economic development. The "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" proposes that we must improve the modern integrated transportation system, adhere to the network layout,Intelligent management, integrated services, and green development, build a comprehensive transportation system with domestic and international corridors, extensive regional urban and rural coverage, comprehensive hub node functions, and integrated transportation services. As of 2019,China’s high-speed rail operating mileage exceeded 35,000 kilometers, and more than two-thirds of the world’s high-speed rail tracks were laid in China. In summary,China has become the world’s high-speed rail.Countries with the most operating mileage and the most extensive coverage areas, and the high-speed rail benefits that have been generated have made cities have a "high-speed rail domino" effect in economic, cultural, and social aspects. Therefore, the impact of high-speed rail on urban accessibility and economic linkages is studied. It has significant practical significance and practical value. The study selected 9 cities along the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed rail line as the research object, and took 2013 and 2018 as the research period before and after the operation of the high-speed rail. The shortest travel time between cities. The weighted average travel time and accessibility coefficient calculated from it are used as the main indicators to measure accessibility.A modified gravity model using time distance instead of space distance is measured from the numerical value under the support of GIS technology. The spatial evolution of the accessibility and economic connections of the cities along the route are analyzed. From the perspective of social network,Ucinet6.0software is used to visualize the economic relations of cities along the line before and after the operation of the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed rail. The transformation and breakthrough under the background, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The time-space compression effect of high-speed rail has broken through the strict restrictions on travel time on the city’s accessibility level, and the accessibility level has been significantly improved, but the small and medium-sized cities along the route have shown a "siphon effect" momentum. The spatial pattern of accessibility is basically unchanged, and the development trend of "high in the east and low in the west" is still maintained.Urumqi and Lanzhou are affected by the closed type of the study area, and the level of accessibility is difficult to match with reality.(2)After the operation of the high-speed railway, the strength of the regional overall economic connection and accessibility have developed positively, but the problem of uneven regional economic development is more prominent, and the small cities along the edges of the line are at risk of being "isolated" by the economy. From the perspective of various provinces and regions,Gansu province has more prominent advantages in the total economic ties among the three provinces, while Xinjiang total economic ties increase rate ranks first, with greater economic development potential.(3)The urban economic linkage network along the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-speed Railway presents a "dual-core,two-wing,three-circle" spatial development pattern, with Urumqi and Lanzhou as the dual core cities,Jiuquan is the convergence point of the corridor’s east-west economic wings, and is closely related to the three major urban circles of "U-Tu-Ha","Jia-Jiu-Zhang" and "Lan-Hai-Xi" Linked economic corridor development network.Lanzhou is connected to the Lanzhou-Xinjiang High-speed Railway under the guidance of the developed transportation network in the East "Economic factors are difficult to enter, and economic resources in the west are difficult to come out." Urumqi expands the construction of the "U-Tu-Ka " economic circle internally, docks with the Lanzhou-Xinjiang high-speed railway and expands the intercity train transportation network between the north and south Xinjiang, and enhances the transport capacity across the Tianshan Mountains between the north and south; As the meeting point of the "two wings",Jiuquan relies on the circulation of various economic factors from east to west to enhance its economic potential and accelerate the transformation of the role of the city from "transportation core" to "economy + transportation core". |
