At present,reading has become a way of life to the vision of the masses.As the main body of reading environment creation,bookstores actively seek their own changes and gradually move towards the development trend of symbiosis with shopping malls.It not only acts as the cultural main body of shopping malls,but also can enhance the popularity of shopping malls.How to effectively gather the flow of people in which people stop to consume become the focus of current research.Based on the background of the times,this paper summarizes the development of the building of the bookstore,and makes a survey and comparison of the successful shopping mall bookstores(Yanjiyou,Fangsuo,Zhongshu Bookstore,Reading MI,Sisyphe,Dangdang Bookstore,Sanlian Bookstore,etc.)by means of questionnaire and field research,in order to improve the theoretical research of the bookstore and provide appropriate space design strategies.Therefore,this paper is divided into the following three parts:Te first part is theoretical elaboration and development analysis.Firstly,based on the theory of consumer behavior,this paper discusses the changes of consumer behavior and demand under the background of the times,and has related relations with space.The second part is the study of consumer behavior and demand in shopping mall bookstore.On the one hand,this paper quantitatively analyzes the characteristics of consumer behavior and demand in shopping mall bookstores through questionnaire survey,and summarizes the characteristics of consumers in three aspects: consumption purpose,business demand and behavior activities;on the other hand,it analyzes the tendency of consumers to pay attention to shopping mall bookstores under the current network big data environment through Dianping data mining;On the other hand,through photo recording arrangement and behavior marking,the author analyzes the types,distribution characteristics and different spatial influencing factors of the location and function,entrance space,reading space,leisure communication space,consumption space and auxiliary space of the bookstore in shopping mall by qualitative,quantitative and comparative analysis.The third part is the space design strategy of shopping mall bookstore based on consumer behavior.First of all,from the location of the location and layout of the format,summed up the unique thinking of the bookstore in the location of the shopping mall and the proportion of different forms of cultural roles,and then on the reading space,leisure communication space,consumption space and auxiliary space respectively elaborated its design strategy.In general,the combination of theory and examples makes the research analysis more reliable,and the comparative analysis of different cases will analyze the research objectives more thoroughly and summarize more targeted.Through the relevant design strategy proposed in this paper,from the point of view of space design,it echoes the latest development mode of shopping mall bookstore,provides the direction for its development trend,and strives to create a shopping mall bookstore related to people,symbiotic with shopping mall,and integrated with the city,forming its own unique system and moving forward to the high-end cultural space of the new era.
