| As a classic design object,automobile interior is composed of many unique components.The complexity of automobile interior design mainly lies in how to coordinate the design relationship between many parts of automobile interior and the whole.In the face of the form changes of automotive interior design brought about by the development of the times and technological progress,this article starts from the design relationship between the unity and variety,takes automotive interior styling as a research object,and deeply studies the variety and unity of automotive interior styling perceptions.The architecture of automobile interior design is proposed,and a design process based on coordinated unity-in-variety is proposed,and the feasibility of the theoretical point of view is preliminarily verified through design practice.The research provides new ideas for automotive interior design and forms a method for improving the perceived quality of automotive interiors based on the unity-in-variety relationship,which has theoretical and practical significance.First of all,this paper established the connection between the variety of automotive interiors and functional components,and used functional components as a carrier of variety in automotive interiors,screens and divides the functional component of automotive interiors,and discusses the expression of variety in automotive interior design.Through the "Functional component Attention Experiment",the user’s perceived difference in attention to the functional components of the interior is determined,and it is found that the "shifter" is a typical functional component that is more concerned by users in the console of the automotive interior.On this basis,focusing on the "shifter " of interior components,we studied the ways to improve perceived quality of functional components,conducted innovative design analysis,and finally obtained three innovation dimensions of perceived quality of the functional components:styling innovation,behavior Innovation and material innovation.Among them,material innovation tends to be unified with the atmosphere of the overall interior;behavioral innovation tends to enhance the variety of the interior;form innovation has both unity and variety.Finally,through the selection of functional components,the number of variety perception elements is limited,and the innovation of functional components improves the perceived intensity of variety,then realizes the improvement of perceived quality of automotive interiors based on variety.Secondly,the research on the unity of car interiors is focused on the exploration of the transformation process from upper semantics to lower modeling,aiming at a new way of expressing the unity of car interiors and its relationship with the perceived quality of car interiors.The research puts forward the concept of architecture,and explores the design expression of automobile interior based on architecture,that is,the operation and expression of the functional volume in the perceived quality of automobile interior.Through expert user surveys and interviews in the "Uniform Expression Experiment of Automotive Interiors",the effectiveness of the block representation method based on the volume relationship in determining the unity of automotive interiors was determined.At the same time,with the aid of the block expression method,the evolution of the architecture and the relationship between the architecture and the perceived quality of the car interior is studied.Taking the Mercedes-Benz series as the object,the time axis as the vertical axis,and the same-generation product line as the horizontal axis in two dimensions,the evolution of the architecture was studied.The final study found that the evolution and differentiation of the architecture should be based on the features of the product itself and adapt to the times and technological change;the evolution of the same generation of architecture can be evolved through different levels of volume and components,forms,and modeling metaphors.Finally,through the enhancement of the architecture,the correlation between different volumes and components of the car interior is enhanced,and the perceived quality of the car interior based on unity is improved.Finally,based on the above research results,the paper proposes the design processes of the automotive interior perceived quality and proposes the methods based on the unity-in-variety collaboration:a design process that focuses on variety and a design process that focuses on unity,and the feasibility of the two design processes is initially verified through design practice. |
