Face gear transmission is a new type of gear transmission,which has the advantages of small size,low cost,good shunting effect and low noise,especially in the case of high speed and heavy load.The arc tooth surface gear transmission is a type of transmission where the staggered axis arc tooth cylindrical gear meshes with the arc tooth surface gear and has higher load carrying capacity.In order to make full use of the advantages of arc toothed gears,this article takes orthogonal arc toothed gears as the research object,analyzes the modeling of arc toothed gears,the dynamic characteristics and inherent characteristics of the system,and reduces the meshing process.The adverse effects brought by medium vibration provide a reference,the main contents are as follows:(1)According to the principle of enveloping the arc tooth surface gear transmission system,the end surface involute tooth profile arc tooth cylindrical gear is constructed as the imaginary tool,and the working surface and transition surface of the arc tooth surface gear are derived.The undercutting conditions and the tip-to-tip conditions determine the minimum inner radius and maximum outer radius of the arc tooth surface gear.Finally,the orthogonal arc tooth surface gear model obtained by MATLAB software and CATIA three-dimensional modeling software.(2)The main dynamic excitations of the arc tooth surface gear transmission system such as time-varying meshing stiffness,static transmission error,flank clearance and friction factors are introduced.Based on the concentrated parameter theory,the vibration dynamic model of the arc tooth surface gear considering the main dynamic excitation is established.Based on the dynamic model,the dynamic differential equations of the arc-toothed gear transmission system were established and the differential equations were dimensionless;the 4th to 5th order Runge-Kutta integral solution method was used in MATLAB software.The dimensionless system dynamic differential equations are solved,and the vibration displacement response and vibration acceleration response of the system are obtained.The vibration responses of the surface gear and the cylindrical gear are compared and analyzed.The meshing frequency and meshing stiffness of the gear pair are compared.The main excitations such as friction and friction factors are considered as a single variable.The effects of meshing frequency,meshing stiffness,and friction factors on the dynamic characteristics of the arc tooth surface gear system are discussed separately.The law of dynamic response of the system under different excitation effects is obtained.(3)The finite element analysis software ANSYS Workbench was used to perform modal analysis on the arc tooth surface gear transmission system,and the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the first six orders were obtained.The variables,respectively,discuss the influence of the pressure angle of the surface gear,the aperture,and the number of teeth of the cylindrical gear on the natural frequency of the system.The results show that the natural frequency increases with the increase of the pressure angle and the aperture of the arc tooth surface gear;As the number of arc-toothed cylindrical gears increases,the natural frequency decreases.
