Research On The Influence Of Electricity Price Subsidy On The Size Of China’s New Energy Manufacturing Enterprises

With the dramatic increase in the amount of carbon dioxide emitted by traditional fossil fuel use and the depletion of energy,the international community has begun to worry about environmental problems caused by global warming in recent years.The medium-and long-term emission reduction targets set by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change are to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions by half by 2050;the blueprint for the Copenhagen Conference is to reduce emissions by 30% in 2020 compared to 1990.Therefore,reducing the use of traditional fossil energy and vigorously developing and using renewable energy to reduce carbon dioxide emissions has become an inevitable requirement for global economic development.China’s energy construction implementation of sustainable development strategy must develop new energy,which is of great significance to promoting structural adjustment of the power industry,reducing environmental pollution,and cultivating new economic growth points.The development of new energy industries can provide alternative energy sources,make up for the energy supply gap,and change production methods and promote technological innovation.Therefore,it is necessary to study the impact of electricity price subsidies on the scale of new energy companies.Starting from the basic research,this paper will focus on the empirical research methods at home and abroad,and focus on the impact of the electricity price subsidy policy on the scale of new energy manufacturing enterprises,and whether it can promote the scale of new energy enterprises.Using the 10-year cross-section data of the China Industrial Enterprise Database from 1998 to 2007,a double-difference measurement(DID)model was constructed to investigate the effect of the electricity price subsidy policy on the scale growth of new energy industry enterprises.An empirical analysis and robustness test The results show that the "Trial Measures for the Management of Renewable Energy Power Generation Prices and Expenses" promulgated by the National Development and Reform Commission(Development Reform Price [2006] No.7)has a significant promotion effect on Chinese new energy industry enterprises.The robustness test was performed by replacing the index of the interpreted variable,and the results were still significant.The results show that policies have a significant effect on promoting labor productivity.This research will provide reference suggestions for guiding the further development of China’s new energy companies and promoting their efficient operations.
