| With the progress and development of the society,while realizing its basic functions,urban public facilities have become an indispensable part of modern cities,an essential medium to display the city landscape as well as an important carrier for the inheritance of city culture.At the beginning of the nearly twenty years of urbanization in our country,confined by the influence of various factors such as design concept,the economic development level and the process of production,the design of urban public facilities,represented by bus station,only considered the basic functions of implementation facilities,and lacked for the sense of beauty,thus caused lots of homogeneity.And these are the important reasons for the sameness and the lack of characteristics of China’s urban construction.In recent years,regional culture have weighed a lot in the comprehensive competitiveness of cities.Many cities have started to focus on the development and utilization of traditional regional culture and lots of buildings and public facilities in traditional styles have appearanced However,the application of these traditional cultural elements mostly stay on the rigid circle,and many designs do not conform to the function and aesthetic needs in modern society,and resulting in the imbalance between the modern functions,aesthetics and the application of traditional cultural elements in public facilities.Based on these problems,the bus stop was designed from kansei engineering and regional culture in this paper.Firstly,by analyzing the relationship between methods and processes of kansei engineering,regional culture and urban public facilities in the design of production,the relevance between kansei engineering and regional culture in the design of urban public facilities is established.Secondly,through the research of bus stop based on perceptual technology,the questionnaire investigation using semantic differential method as well as the study of perceptual image of bus stop which using the factor analysis method and grey relational analysis method,the perceptual image design criteria of bus stop that accorded with the modern aesthetic cognition was obtained after the summarization of key design elements of bus stop.Finally,the Shanxi regional culture was summed up by searching the literature and field investigation,and appropriate cultural elements were selected by using the three-factor theory.The cultural elements selected such as shape,color and texture were recycled and used in the design of the bus stop.In combination with the kansei engineering-based bus stop design criteria,the final design project was obtained after evaluation and optimization and further modeling and rendering.By the design of the bus stop which combined kansei engineering and Shanxi regional culture,a set of application methods and procedures of regional culture conforming to modern aesthetic cognition were obtained from the design process,links,methods,principles and other aspects.And it provides a reference to better integrate traditional regional cultural elements into modern urban public facilities. |
