At present,China’s construction industry is developing rapidly,but its production efficiency is relatively low.One of the important reasons for this situation is the increasing scale of domestic engineering projects,the increasing complexity of architectural form and construction technology,the lack of timely and effective access to engineering data and data in traditional engineering project management mode,and the inability to achieve refined and information-based management of the construction industry.BIM based engineering project management can improve the efficiency of traditional engineering project management to obtain related engineering data,which brings an opportunity to change the current situation of construction industry and engineering project management.The actual effect of BIM obtaining engineering project data is not ideal,one of the important reasons is that it does not realize the integration of progress,cost and other engineering project management data with BIM model and BIM data,so establishing the relationship between traditional engineering project management data and BIM model and BIM data is the premise to improve the efficiency of traditional engineering project management.In this paper,after in-depth study of the characteristics and relations of traditional project management data relationship model and BIM data structure,Construction Project Management Data Relationship Model Based on BIM is proposed,and the relationship between traditional project management data and BIM model and BIM data is established,To realize the conversion of traditional engineering project management data applications to BIM-based engineering project management data applications.After comparing and analyzing the engineering data stored in external database and MS Project file,it is found that using MS Project file to store data has more advantages in data redundancy and data security than external database,so MS Project file is chosen as the engineering data storage file,and Construction Project Management Data Relationship Model Based on BIM is simplified.Based on the simplified Construction Project Management Data Relationship Model Based on BIM,the construction scheme and process design of the project management planning system based on Revit are put forward.The project management planning system based on Revit is developed by integrating BIM software,cost resource database and project management software MS Project.The main interface and functions of the system are introduced.It realizes the deep application of BIM data in engineering project management,improves the efficiency of traditional engineering project management to obtain engineering data,so as to improve the level and efficiency of information technology in engineering project management and construction industry.At the end of the paper,the function and operation method of the project management planning system based on Revit are introduced in detail,and the data output and analysis prove that the system can provide accurate and necessary project information for project management,which is helpful for project management personnel to carry out dynamic analysis and control of cost schedule.It is proved that the data relation model of project management based on BIM and the project management planning system based on Revit are feasible and reliable.
