| With the rapid development of society and economy,the level of urbanization in China has been continuously improved.However,after experiencing rapid and extensive urbanization,most central cities in China are now entering the stage of quality improvement,so the role of stock planning becomes more prominent.At the same time,rapid urban development has also caused many "urban diseases",mainly in the areas of urban population explosion,land shortage,environmental degradation,and traffic congestion.In order to solve these problems,American scholar Petrer Calthorpe has proposed a transportation-oriented urban development model from the late 1980 s to the early 1990 s.After years of practice and theoretical exploration,it has become a more mature urban planning and design principle for effectively coordinating urban transportation and urban development.Many developed countries have begun urban construction with TOD strategy and achieve a good result.In recent years,China’s rail transportation has developed rapidly,and many stock regions have also formed a good foundation for practicing TOD.There is less guidance on the design of urban public space systems and specific urban public spaces.There are many difficulties in implementing the TOD model in existing public spaces,and many plans are difficult to really achive.Therefore,how to balance the interests and needs of all parties in the planning and design of such urban public space,and how to carry out construction under the multiple constraints of the stock space are very worthy of thinking and research.In the context of the stock era,this article takes the urban public space based on the TOD model as the research object,and discusses how to use reasonable landscape planning and design to make the stock type TOD model urban public space solve the urban renewal while maintaining its landscape characteristics Various misplaced problems in the process and provide a good environment for citizens’ life and production.Relying on the urban design practice of the Fengjiawan area in Chengdu as a blueprint,the discussion of related design strategies is launched.The article is organized by the logic of "problem-analyze problem-solve problem".This Paper first introduces the relevant theories of the TOD model and analyzes the basic concepts,basic types,and basic models of the TOD in order to provide support for the construction of relevant urban public space.Then,through the literature and research,it explains the situation of China’s TOD construction and summarize the current difficulties and trends in China’s future TOD construction.After field surveys in Chengdu,Chongqing and other places,this paper finds out the problems of subsequent urban public space construction caused by the contradiction between the development of the city based on TOD model and the actual situation of the stock space.This paper analyze further analyzes the impact of the implementation of the TOD model in the stock space on urban public space and related demands.Then,through the excellent foreign TOD practice cases,this paper extracts the relevant design methods of urban public space in the TOD model.Based on the urban public space construction problems mentioned above,this paper systematically analyzes the urban public space based on the TOD model from the macro level of the urban public space system and the micro level of the key urban public space design in order to summarize the TOD model Urban public space design strategy.After that,the urban design of Fengjiawan area in Chengdu is taken as an example to conduct more in-depth research and show the application of the aforementioned design theory in specific projects.Finally,a comprehensive summary of the main points put forward in this paper,the innovations and deficiencies of this thesis are proposed,and the research prospects of urban public space development under the guidance of the TOD model are expressed.It is hoped that this thesis will play a certain guiding role in guiding China’s urban public space development at this stage. |
