| As an important part of urban space,garden space is an important carrier of residents’life and entertainment.The richness of its life and the improvement of its appreciation level prompt the contemporary garden space to be richer in calligraphy and painting.Chinese and Japanese traditional gardens have high quality space culture spirit and aesthetic rhythm,which have been widely concerned by professionals all over the world.It has become the call of The Times to combine the essence of classical gardening art with the needs of contemporary society,to look at contemporary elements innovatively and critically,and to inherit traditional gardening ideas and art.In order to accurately grasp the mathematical characteristics of Chinese and Japanese traditional gardens,clarify the differences in the traditional garden construction techniques between the two countries,and facilitate the future use of Japanese contemporary garden inheritance and innovation models,this study studied the construction of space types,characteristics differences of space elements and combinations of space elements of Chinese and Japanese traditional gardens,so as to develop new forms of Chinese contemporary gardens with local characteristics.In order to select typical garden samples from a large number of examples of traditional Chinese and Japanese gardens,this study made a preliminary selection based on the relevant heat of each garden,and then constructed the selection principle of the playable garden,so as to select the representative playable garden samples.According to the historical mapping map of garden samples,Auto CAD software was used for drawing.The road curvature radius index was calculated in Grasshopper software.Arc GIS and Excel software were used for data statistics and analysis of electronic drawings,finally SPSS software was applied to analyze the various indicators.In terms of garden space types,Chinese and Japanese traditional gardens have different classification standards and systems.Due to the differences in the way of use,the scale of gardens,the construction period and other factors,the forms of gardens are also quite different.In order to unify the classification standard,this study conducted regression analysis based on the road curvature,quantity and length,and comprehensively evaluated the walkable of garden samples,and proposed two new garden forms:"Ordinary Garden"and"Fickle Garden".The comparison and discussion between the existing classification results of China and Japan and the above classification results prove that the classification method is not only highly consistent with the classification standards of Japan,but also completely complementary with the classification standards of Chinese gardens and has its scientific and accuracy.In terms of landscape spatial elements,this research will be Chinese and Japanese traditional garden road,vegetation,water,and building the correlation regression analysis to four elements of comparative study,found the traditional Lin’s emphasis on water,including traditional Chinese music type landscape architecture has a persistent pursuit,while Japanese traditional garden of plants and road show too much favor.Through the comparison of the same types of gardens,it is also concluded that Chinese traditional gardens can better reflect the characteristics of"seeing the big by the small".Among them,Chinese craftsmen pay much attention to the creation of"touring"while Japanese pay more attention to the experience of"pure view".In addition,Chinese traditional gardens have the dual sensory modes of"seeing the big by the small"and"seeing the small by the big",while Japanese traditional gardens have more characteristics of"seeing the big by the small".Moreover,it is found that the garden scale of 2.5hm~2,5hm~2 and10hm~2will be the key nodes to judge the use scale and form of each element.The combination of the elements in the space characteristics,this study focuses on the elements into the open and closed space scale and maximum and minimum sight distance in the open space of the relevant return analysis,has been clear about the two countries under the small piece playability similar type botanical garden space open degree,reflected in Japan with ordinary garden is more open space scale and the opening and closing of contrast,under the large scale,our country’s fickle garden will be more closed,ordinary type garden more open.And proves that the two countries garden ornamental sight distance meet"thousand feet for potential,hundreds of feet into shape""outer space modulus theory",but our country fickle style garden a longer minimum sight distance,embodies the fickle type of Japanese gardens have stronger ability to shrink the view,the Japanese traditional garden more like"shrinkage fitting"nature,and the Chinese traditional garden more show the natural form of artificial"meaning".Finally,the conclusions,shortcomings and prospects of this study are extracted.It is hoped that the method and model of quantitative comparison between the two types of gardens can be created from the perspective of accessibility,so as to promote the scientificity and accuracy of quantitative comparison results,and further promote the exploration of the characteristics of traditional Chinese gardens and the inheritance and innovation of contemporary gardens. |
