| University campus open space is one of the special components of the urban space unit, and it is also the material carrier for teachers and students to carry out teaching and scientific research.Increasingly rich and diverse campus life has made teachers and students put forward higher requirements for campus open space, and the emphasis on human factors has also made subjective space experience a part of campus open space design that cannot be ignored.Traditional studies of architecture from the perspective of static and macroscopic analysis of open spaces have shown deficiencies in space perception research.Based on the Gestalt perception theory, the thesis takes Wuhan University as an example to conduct an in-depth analysis of the open space of college campuses.Based on this,it proposes the relevant factors that affect the perception of open spaces in college campuses and the multiple meanings of perception. The characteristics of open space perception in college campuses from the perspective of path are presented. From the perspective of path, the thesis pays attention to the integration of multisensory,space-time and individual experience,so as to evaluate the open campus space with a combination and comprehensive perception. The research methods are mainly divided into three parts: experimental research, graphic analysis and field experience.Start with a crosssection analysis, take the typical cases of the main campus of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as the experimental research object, and use questionnaires and eye movement experiments to analyze the specific factors that affect the perception of open space on campus, the five elements that show architecture, terrain, trees, shrubs, and ground cover are important material elements that constitute the campus road landscape combination. And from the path to the whole school’s road network and spatial pattern analysis,to form the overall cognitive impression of the campus space, combined with the environmental elements of open space perception to evaluate and study the perception of open campus space. At the same time, the research cases have been extended to 11 universities in Wuhan.Based on the characteristics of the open space of the campuses of the two colleges in the 1950 s and 1980 s,combined with the actual space experience on the site, the in-depth analysis from a comprehensive perspective has formed a campus opening comprehensive and holistic perception of space. Finally, through comparison analysis results and SD questionnaire verification, the important supplementary role of path perspective to traditional research methods of architecture is illustrated. The ultimate goal of perceptual evaluation research is not to draw "good" or "inferior" conclusions about space creation, but to focus on analyzing the relationship between subjective perception and environmental elements, and conducting post-design evaluation to improve campus planning and open space design ideas It provides a supplement to the research method of open space in college campus. |
