The Evaluation Of Campus Open Space Based On An Analysis Of Studentsbehavior And Activity Pattern

With the continuous propress of urban life,urban studies have paid more attention to the basic elements ofhuman.The urban studies centering on human beings focus more on the relationship between people’s activities and the functions of urban places,and on human activities’ mutual influence with the urban space.In addition,as the information technology advances,a change has been shown from traditional social investigation to smart phone mobile survey and quantitative analysis of human activities and needs have become increasingly important.This paper,with the help of smart phone survey method on movements and the collector software in the track of spatio-temporal movements,attempts to do research and study on students’ activities,and to evaluate the behavior and activity type,length of stay,passing frequency and cognitive research in subject and object manners.The smart phone survey method on movements can accurately obtainthe dynamic condition of students’ activities,which can be used for the analysis of the group behavior type and the evaluation of the campus open space.Through the records of volunteers’trajectory data on time and space,this paper tries to study the activity sequence,length of stay and space distribution of the volunteers,and to analyze the behavior and activity type and the motivation reasons,through which the isolated open space and human beings will be connected.Finally,according to the collected data of the spatial and temporal trajectory data the analysis results and the planning and design of the campus open space,the paper puts forward the corresponding update strategy,and the optimization scheme of campus open space.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)the collection and processing of spatial and temporal trajectory data,including the determination of trajectory collection software and The thinking of the survey,the use of spatial and temporal trajectory instructions,and data preprocessing.(2)Classifying the types of students’ behavior and GIS is used to calculate the number of necessary activities and the spontaneous activities and the total number of all types of activities.(3)Evaluation of campus open space,through the statistical analysis of the type of student behavior,combined with the campus open space residence time and frequency statistics,the campus open space use evaluation.(4)the optimization strategy of campus space,based on the results of the evaluation of campus open space,to put forward the campus space optimization strategy and planning proposal from the perspective of single space.
