In recent years,China has been advocating the concept of green and sustainable development of life,and the people have been pursuing a higher quality of life.The traditional clay brick houses that cause damage to the environment have not met the requirements of the new socialist rural construction in China.The cold-formed thin-walled steel has the advantages of high bearing capacity,convenient construction and beautiful appearance.Straw brick has the advantages of good heat preservation performance,light weight and easy access to materials.In this paper,the cold-formed thin-walled steel and straw brick are combined to make a new type of composite wall,and the vertical bearing capacity test is carried out.At the same time,the ABAQUS finite element analysis software is used to carry out the vertical bearing Finally,the calculation formula of vertical bearing capacity of composite wall is put forward.The main contents of this paper are as follows: 、(1)The properties of cold-formed thin-walled steel,straw brick,wood and mortar were tested,and their physical indexes and mechanical parameters were obtained,which provided a basis for the study of the vertical bearing capacity of composite wall and the subsequent finite element analysis.(2)The ultimate bearing capacity of the composite wall is obtained by the vertical bearing capacity test.The vertical load displacement curve,out of plane load displacement curve,steel load strain curve and the failure mechanism of the composite wall are analyzed.The test results show that the mechanical properties of the composite wall can meet the requirements of engineering application,and the integrity of the composite wall is good.(3)Based on the ABAQUS finite element analysis software,the numerical simulation of the composite wall is carried out,and the numerical simulation results are compared with the test results.The comparison shows that the data of the two are relatively consistent,and then the correctness of the numerical model is verified.On the basis of verifying the rationality and validity of the model structure,the variable parameter analysis of the composite wall is carried out.The results show that the vertical bearing capacity of the wall can be improved by increasing the mortar thickness,increasing the section area of the column and reducing the column spacing.(4)The calculation formula of the vertical bearing capacity of the composite wall is put forward,and the calculation results are compared with the test results.The results show that the two are relatively consistent,which shows that the proposed calculation formula of the vertical bearing capacity can provide reference for the future engineering application.
