| Bifacial half-cell photovoltaic(PV)module is the development trend of highefficiency module in the next few years.In this paper,we mainly investigated the highefficiency manufacture and application of bifacial half-cell PV module.We optimized the cutting process of bifacial solar cell and analyzed the cutting loss to improve the conversion efficiency of PV module.By doing the reliability tests of different modules,the reliability of modules was evaluated to ensure the long-term use in the outdoor environment.And by comparing different installation methods in the outdoor,suitable installation methods of bifacial PV module were found and the output power can be improved.The main results are as follow:1.The optimal cutting process for bifacial solar cell using GSC-20F laser scribing machine is as follows:cut from rear side,and repeat cutting twice;the setting parameters of the laser machine are:the laser cutting power is 5 W,the cutting frequency is 30 kHz,and the cutting speed is 130 mm/s.2.Not mechanical breaking but laser scribing is a major source of losses during the cell separation process.Under the optimal cutting process,the loss caused by the laser to the cell is limited,and the output power of the corresponding half-cell modules increases by about 2%compared with the full-cell modules.3.In light-induced degradation,thermal cycle aging and damp heat aging tests,the front and rear power loss percentage of n-type bifacial half-cell modules is less than that of p-type bifacial half-cell modules;In the potential-induced degradation test,due to the difference between the passivation layers before and after different types of bifacial solar cells,the degradation of n-type module mainly occurs on the front,while that of p-type module mainly occurs on the rear.4.High reflection scene and no shielding on the rear are conducive to improving the power output of n-type bifacial half-cell modules.When the local surface is white paint,the increase of the power output is more than 26%.In the same ground scene,the power output of n-type modules is higher than that of p-type power output.When ntype bifacial modules are installed with no purlins on the longitudinal back,the power output of modules can be increased by about 3.7%. |
