The Design And Development Of Ship Management System For Domestic Shipping

Maintenance and repair management of ship machine and crewing management are the main work contents of ship management companies,which are relevant to the continuous operation and service lifetime of the vessel.However,the shipping management of domestic shipping companies are still too traditional.There are too many repetitive work and mistakes result in low-efficient and high-cost situation because of lack of intelligent compute system.Otherwise,under the continuous downturn market,the shipping companies are turning to find some ways like using computer system to help them to cut their management cost to survive.This thesis is talking about the design and development of ship intelligent management system for domestic shipping.On the overall design stage of this project,we decide to make full use of internet technology and manage this project in its whole progress by using Waterfall Progress Model.The front side of this system will be designed to the Web-end Side and the APP-end Side by some development languages or tools,such as Java,HTML,Object C and so on,in order to make the user can login this system in the convenient ways.The system will be designed separately on front side and background side with the Cloud technology and B/S construction,so it will be much easier and cheaper to upgrade this system in the future.Based on the market demands of domestic shipping,the system will conclude the basic functions,such as shipping information management,crew management,repair and maintenance management,storage and purchasing management,business plan and report management,safety system management and so on.The system allows the user to setting the roles’ rights and progress to satisfy different management requirements of different companies.In order to meet the rules,the design of basic code and functions will obey the GB of China and rules from CCS.Besides,the function of this system will be designed to adjust the commands of Safety Management System of shipping companies.The system concludes all functions on the web-end side,and provides a variety of report models,so the user can fully use this system on computer.On the other side,the APP-end side of this system is designed to deal with some missions,view important documents,and edit necessary files.By using the ship intelligent management system,most of the work content of the shipping company will be done on system.A mass of tedious documents will be stored scientifically by high effective system.Every department can use this system to deal with their own work and cooperate with other departments very easily.The shipping management system will cut down the repetitive works and help companies to improve office efficiency and reduce management costs.
