A Study On The Construction System Of Bamboo Tectonic Building

Bamboo is the fastest growing and most common plants on earth.Bamboo as the material which has a long history and plays an indispensible part in people’s lives.In recent years,the global warming and timber’s shortage have become a topic of widespread concern,in this background,bamboo as a material excellent in ecological re-entered the people’s eye.However,the current study of bamboo-tectonic building design is still relatively small,the construction system of bamboo-tectonic building is also without combing,the relevant building regulations are not yet perfect,all these lead to the promotion of bamboo-tectonic building encountered a bottleneck.In November 2015,"regulations of technology of bamboo structures" through the assessment,marking the China out of the penalty area from the bamboo-tectonic building.Thus,in this environment,the author attempts to make a systematic summary of the construction system of bamboo-tectonic building at the level of construction in order to provide a reference for the future practice and theoretical study.The article is divided into the following parts:Firstly,This paper summarizes the history of using bamboo as a primitive materials as well as the technical attributes and culture of bamboo;and then the article on the structure and basic building elements of bamboo-tectonic building are systematically arranged,specifically from the traditional bamboo-tectonic building’s structure type and modern bamboo-tectonic building’s structure type and the basic building element of the bamboo-tectonic building;After that,the paper classifys the construction of bamboo-tectonic building from the angle of bamboo’s connection demands,the connection ways,the connection design principles,as well as the construction;and finally,with the first three chapters of technical knowledge bedding,the article classifys the many bamboo-tectonic building from the construction technical features and selects the representative cases for in-depth analysis,trying to show the potential of different construction techniques,and attempts to explore both to give full play to the characteristics of bamboo,but also reflects the development trend of bamboo-tectonic building which has the characteristics of the times.In the process of research,this paper does not take the bamboo as a "poor man’s wood" or a highly limited material,but takes it as a kind of ecological building material which is full of potential and hope.The whole thesis contains about 53000 words,200 pictures and charts.
