At present, the demand of global warming and sustainable development of carbon dioxide economy has become increasingly serious, which has become the requirement of global warming and environmental protection. How to achieve green economic development and build an ecologically livable green water and green mountains has been widely concerned by the government, enterprises and academia.Enterprises in the low-carbon supply chain actively invest in emission reduction and low-carbon promotion, which has a positive impact on the performance and reputation of enterprises, and is the key to the realization of green and sustainable development in economy and society. The government’s support and subsidy policy for low-carbon supply chain enterprises is an important way to promote the upgrading and development of low-carbon supply chain industrial structure and economic development mode to green, environmental protection and sustainable development. It is a very important external influencing factor in the operation of low-carbon supply chain. It plays a very obvious guiding and supporting role in the development of low-carbon industry and emission reduction investment of low-carbon enterprises. At the same time, consumers’ preference for low-carbon products and the sensitivity of low-carbon promotion further aggravate the complexity of the decision-making environment.Based on the above problems, based on the existing research, this thesis uses the method of Stackelberg game to study from the perspective of emission reduction and promotion investment in low-carbon supply chain. In the case of government subsidies and no government subsidies,a low-carbon supply chain model composed of a manufacturer and a retailer is constructed. At the same time, the emission reduction cost sharing contract is introduced to promote supply chain coordination, and the cooperative emission reduction and low-carbon promotion decision-making within the supply chain are studied. The effects of government subsidies, cost sharing contracts, consumers’ low-carbon sensitivity and promotion sensitivity on the optimal decision-making of supply chain members are discussed, and the corresponding conclusions are drawn through numerical analysis and model comparison. The main findings are as follows:(1)In the case that the government gives manufacturers subsidies for emission reduction costs,a reasonable subsidy value can effectively increase the overall unit emission reduction, promotion efforts and total profits of the supply chain; After the government subsidizes manufacturers’ emission reduction costs and introduces cost sharing contracts, the overall profits of the supply chain can be improved. When the subsidy is too high, the enthusiasm of retailers is frustrated and the overall efficiency of the supply chain is reduced.(2)A reasonable cost sharing ratio can promote both sides of the supply chain to participate in low-carbon activities,so as to increase the total profit of the supply chain and achieve the effect of centralized decision-making.Under the subsidy of emission reduction products, retailers can realize that the overall benefit of the supply chain exceeds the level of centralized decision-making through cost sharing and achieve better coordination of the supply chain. The excessive cost sharing ratio will reduce the enthusiasm of retailers to participate and reduce the overall benefit of the supply chain.(3)The increase of consumers’ low-carbon sensitivity coefficient and promotion sensitivity coefficient can produce positive spillover effects, which will increase the unit emission reduction of manufacturers and the promotion efforts of retailers. So as to expand market demand and further improve the income of enterprises in the supply chain. Therefore, the government and low-carbon supply chain enterprises should actively carry out low-carbon promotion and promotion to consumers,so that the concept of green coordination and sustainability can be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,so as to promote the continuous improvement of supply chain benefits and ecological environment quality.(4)When the government provides two subsidies in the same proportion, the subsidy for emission reduction products provided by the government can better improve the green and low-carbon benefits and enterprise profits of the low-carbon supply chain. At the same time, the subsidy for emission reduction products can make consumers get products with better cost performance and better return on promotion investment of retailers. Therefore, when selecting the type of government subsidy,The government can focus on using subsidies for emission reduction products to support and guide manufacturers,so as to obtain better subsidy effect.
