Research On The Impact Of Conch’s Green Transformation On Financial Performance Of Energy Enterprises

In 2015,At the fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th CPC Central Committee,the important concept of green development was clearly put forward in China,and green development is regarded as an important concept of China’s overall development.The cement industry is a highly polluting industry.The early large-scale non-economic development mode aggravated excessive pollutant discharge and the contradiction between supply and demand.The traditional operation mode of cement enterprises has been unable to meet the current development concept of "clear water and green mountains are gold and silver mountains".At the same time,the country put forward the supply-side reform,introduced a lot of policies related to the cement industry,carried out environmental protection production limit,reduce capacity,so as to achieve green transformation,build a green industrial chain,and promote the upgrading of industrial structure.In this context,the contradiction between the financial performance of the cement industry chain and environmental protection is becoming increasingly significant.The green transformation of the enterprise is bound to invest a lot of environmental protection costs,which will have a certain impact on the financial performance of the enterprise.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the impact of green transformation on financial performance of cement enterprises.Conch Cement is a representative cement enterprise in China.Since 2012,Conch Cement has started to take the road of green transformation,adopting methods such as increasing investment in environmental protection,optimizing industrial structure and promoting technological innovation to activate the circular green sustainable development of the enterprise.A series of new energy development methods have been developed,including the construction of green mines,green production and green energy conversion.However,the transformation is a long-term process.Analysis shows that the effect of conch Cement’s green transformation gradually emerged after 2015,and the transformation has brought good environmental performance and financial performance of the enterprise.In this thesis,the traditional financial index analysis method is firstly used to analyze and evaluate the financial performance of Conch Cement before and after green transformation through relevant financial data,and the financial index data of conch cement is compared with the industry average.Finally,by introducing the new evaluation method of green EVA and adding environmental protection factors into the evaluation process of traditional EVA,the performance of green transformation of conch cement was comprehensively evaluated,and the conclusion was drawn that the green transformation mode of conch cement was relatively successful.On this basis,the thesis puts forward three suggestions: strengthening scientific and technological innovation,perfecting an evaluation system,and strengthening information and environmental disclosure,which can provide reference for other enterprises to realize sustainable development in green transformation.
