Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid development of China’s comprehensive strength,China’s construction industry has made great contributions to the development of the national economy,but it has also brought huge burdens to the economy and challenges to sustainable development,is Our country “Double carbon”goal realization process needs the key area which pays attention.At present,the research on carbon emission accounting of China’s construction industry is not perfect,and there is still no unified accounting standard at the macro level,especially the lack of understanding of regional differences,this thesis constructs the carbon emission accounting model and carbon emission efficiency model of the construction industry at the provincial level,and has a more comprehensive and profound understanding of China’s construction industry carbon emission status.This thesis mainly consists of three parts.On the one hand,the input-output method and the carbon emission coefficient method are used to calculate the carbon emission of China’s construction industry.As a terminal product,the production of construction products has a great pull effect on other sectors.With the input of products from other sectors,the corresponding carbon emission is also transferred to the construction industry,the input-output measure measures the construction industry’s hidden carbon emissions from other sectors,accounting for more than 98 percent of total emissions.In addition,although the carbon intensity of the construction industry has been decreasing in recent years,the impact on China’s overall carbon emissions has been increasing,accounting for more than one-third of China’s total carbon emissions.On the other hand,the thesis analyzes the carbon emission and carbon intensity of construction industry in 30 provinces from 2005 to 2017.According to the order of total carbon emission from high to low,the top 10 provinces and regions bear more than half of the carbon emission from construction industry in China.Finally,considering that the construction industry’s carbon emission is equivalent to the input of environmental resources,this thesis adds the construction industry’s total carbon emission as an environmental factor into the traditional Total factor productivity model of the construction industry,using the data envelopment analysis(Dea),this thesis calculates the total carbon emission efficiency(tce)and tce of the construction industry in 30 provinces and regions of China from 2005 to 2017.In terms of space,there are obvious differences in the development of construction industry in different regions,among which the technical progress,management level and production scale of construction industry in Beijing,Zhejiang,Hainan,Shanghai and Jiangsu are highly coordinated,carbon efficiency has improved in different regions,but the rate of improvement has slowed down in recent years due to low management levels.The construction industry is a key field of energy conservation and emission reduction,as it generates a large amount of carbon emissions and brings challenges to sustainable development.How to get rid of difficulties and achieve a new round of development is a new task for construction enterprises at present and in the future.
