| SiC ceramic materials have outstanding properties and are widely used in aerospace,automotive and other fields.Due to the high hardness and brittleness of SiC ceramic materials,diamond grinding wheel grinding is becoming more and more common.However,the wear and passivation of diamond grinding wheels during grinding seriously affects the surface quality of SiC ceramic workpieces.Timely dressing of diamond grinding wheels changes.must be very important.Therefore,this paper studies the influence of different discharge parameters on the dressing of diamond grinding wheels through a combination of theoretical analysis and experiments,and analyzes the grinding characteristics of the dressing grinding wheel in the initial stage of grinding.The grinding performance of diamond grinding wheel is of great significance to improve the surface quality of SiC ceramic workpiece.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the process of EDM dressing of metal bond grinding wheel is clarified,and the factors affecting the efficiency and quality of EDM dressing are discussed.Based on the removal of hard and brittle materials by a single abrasive particle,the removal mechanism of hard and brittle materials and the subsurface damage caused by the grinding wheel were analyzed.EDM dressing and grinding experiments provided the basis.Secondly,an experimental platform for EDM dressing diamond grinding wheel was built,a diamond grinding wheel block was designed,and an experimental plan for grinding wheel dressing was formulated.Multi-point distributed grinding wheel blocks are used for dressing experiments.The single factor method is used to carry out diamond grinding wheel dressing experiments with different discharge dressing parameters.The surface of the grinding wheel blocks after discharge dressing is detected by scanning electron microscope.Influence law of grinding wheel surface topography.The results show that when the discharge voltage increases,the surface morphology of the diamond grinding wheel after dressing becomes worse;when the pulse width increases,the surface morphology of the diamond grinding wheel after dressing becomes worse;when the discharge current decreases,the surface morphology of the diamond grinding wheel after dressing becomes worse.Deteriorated appearance.Finally,the grinding experiments on SiC ceramic workpieces were carried out for the diamond grinding wheels dressed with different discharge parameters,focusing on the grinding wheel wear in the initial grinding stage,the surface quality,The characteristics such as the change of subsurface damage provide theoretical and experimental basis for the online trimming of SiC ceramics. |
