Study On The Manifestation And Historical Value Of "Jianguo Porcelain"

"Jianguo porcelain" is China’s first independently designed,developed and produced porcelain sets for national celebrations or national banquets after the founding of the people’s Republic of China.The proposal of the "Founding of the people’s Republic of China porcelain project" mainly stems from the needs of three aspects: first,the need to commemorate the birth of new China,second,the need to carry forward Chinese culture,and third,the need to rebuild and develop the porcelain industry of new China.Therefore,in 1952,under the application and suggestion of Comrade Guo Moruo,then Vice Premier of the Government Council and concurrently director of the Central Commission of culture and education,Premier Zhou Enlai issued an instruction to design "Jianguo porcelain".Thus,the "Jianguo porcelain project" began more than three years of research,design,production and approval.The details will be undertaken by the Ministry of light industry,designed by the Department of practical art of the Central Academy of fine arts,and produced in Jingdezhen production area.The division of labor in the whole process was clear and meticulous.With the full support of governments at all levels,the forces of all sectors of society at that time were coordinated and mobilized,and this magnificent epic of ceramic production project was achieved.The research object of this paper is "Jianguo porcelain project" and "Jianguo porcelain" finished product itself.At present,there are few papers and books on the special research on "Jianguo porcelain" and "Jianguo porcelain project",but the research on or referring to "Jianguo porcelain" and its project still has a certain scale,and this part of the research is mainly about ceramic culture,ceramic production and ceramic art in the more than 30 years after the founding of the people’s Republic of China.In order to fill this gap,this paper integrates the narrative articles,relevant historical records and high-level aesthetic articles of the witnesses of the "Founding of the people’s Republic of China porcelain project",in order to obtain as comprehensive and macro data as possible.On this basis,this paper makes a shallow to deep systematic analysis of "Jianguo porcelain" and "Jianguo porcelain project",and puts the obtained design principles,connotation and spirit into practice,so as to further carry forward and develop "Jianguo porcelain culture".Specifically,starting from the beginning and end of the "Founding of the people’s Republic of China porcelain project",this paper makes a descriptive arrangement of the whole design and production stage with a diachronic research method.Then it analyzes the expression form of the finished product "Jianguo porcelain",in order to explore the design form of "Jianguo porcelain",so as to describe the external "portrait" of "Jianguo porcelain" in the form of text.Secondly,it analyzes the various far-reaching effects of the "Founding porcelain project" on various industries in the ceramic field,in order to interpret its historical value and practical significance.Thirdly,the article summarizes and analyzes the design connotation of "Jianguo porcelain" in order to complete the exploration and research from the outside to the inside.At the same time,it uses the design connotation to detail its enlightenment to contemporary daily-use porcelain.Finally,the conceptual achievements obtained above are integrated and applied to design creation based on the design connotation of "Jianguo porcelain",so as to complete the complete research path from theory to practice.
