| With the rapid development of economy, environmental problems arise, especially the air pollution phenomenon represented by haze frequently appears.Strengthening pollution prevention and control, promoting green development have become the main theme in the new era.At present, the concept of China’s economic development begins to change, from focusing on total economy to focusing on quality upgrading gradually, from focusing on factors driven to focusing on innovation driven.Information technology has been widely promoted,China has stepped into the information society, and the continuous integration of information technology and industrial development has become a new requirement to promote the development of green economy. Therefore, from the perspective of informatization,it is of great value to explore the correlation between informatization development and green economy, especially to study whether informatization can promote haze reduction. This paper analyzes the internal mechanism of informatization to reduce haze pollution by influencing production organization and lifestyle, industrial system, clean technology and haze governance. The empirical aspects, taking China’s 285prefecture-level and above cities from 2010 to 2016,the spatial econometric model is used to systematically investigate the impact of informatization on haze pollution.Considering the spatial lag of haze pollution, the results show that the informatization has a significant negative relationship with haze pollution. The paper also constructs a DID model to evaluate the effectiveness of informatization policies,as well as methods such as measurements, changing samples, spatial weight matrix and considering the time lag of haze pollution. This conclusion remains robustness.Considering the endogeneity problems of the variables, this paper further uses the instrumental variable to estimate. The results still indicate that informatization can significantly reduce haze pollution. The heterogeneity test results show that the difference of cities scale and innovation bases will have an impact on the haze reduction effect, but there is no significant impact in cities with different economic development levels. This paper confirms that informatization has the effect of haze pollution reduction at the prefecture-level city level, and provides policy enlightenment for the construction of urban informatization and haze pollution governance. |
