The Impact Of Environmental Management Base On Effectiveness Considering Environmental Regulation In Liberia With Reference On China

Productivity has become a national priority for all economies.Whether you are policy maker,businessman or worker sustainable prosperity depends on our ability to increase productivity.At the same time,environmental regulation and sustainable development have become vital for countries and enterprises.The objectives of this empirical and qualitative research are to explain how the impact of environmental management base on effectiveness can impact businesses as it relates to environmental regulation in Liberia.The issues with the environment are of major concern,as a result of this phenomena in which we live,should be monitor effectively.However,several studies have been carried out on the impact of environmental management on economics performance in businesses.Moreover,several scholars argued that environmental Management has a negative effect on labor productivity,but there is no persistent conclusion.Regarding effective environmental regulations in China,the impact is controlled by quality management.In the passed years,environmental management scores showed that companies have already passed ISO 14001 and are set as proxies for independent and moderating variables.Samples of 17 Chinese companies was used to examined the hypothesis by multiple regression analysis and results showed that environmental management has a negative impact on labor productivity,and quality management controlled the relationship.Therefore,my argument is that to measure effectiveness,a new method is employed,Management by Objectives and SMART Model.These are measures or Metrics that reflects how well goals are helping the organization progress toward attaining its strategic goals.Management by objectives is the method that management and employees used to monitor subsequent performance.These metrics can be applied to businesses as it relates to environmental regulation in Liberia.The environment is of major concern to the Government and people of Liberia.There are institutions set aside to monitor and regulate the environment,The environmental Protection Agency(EPA)and National Environmental Commission of Liberia(NECOLIB).This research thesis contribution is that,environmental management,quality management,when align together with management by objective and SMART Model will help businesses improve as it relates to effective performance.
