With the rapid development of economy,people’s travel requirements for the safe operation of highway tunnels are gradually increasing,and the frequent occurrence of safety accidents in highway tunnels is imminent to improve the safety of highway tunnel operations.A large amount of data was collected through investigations,and then research on the safe operation technology of highway tunnels was carried out.First,during the experiment,VBOX,dynamic electrocardiograph,five-wheel instrument and radar speedometer were used to collect experimental data such as the environmental illumination of the highway tunnel,the driver’s psychophysiology and the speed of the vehicle.Through statistics and analysis of the distribution characteristics of highway tunnel accidents,the impact factors of accidents were analyzed from the four aspects: people,vehicles,tunnels and environment.The gray correlation degree method and the entropy weight method were used to analyze the significant influence factors of tunnel traffic safety accidents.Secondly,based on the three significant influencing factors above,the experimental data of highway tunnel drivers’ psychophysiology,tunnel illuminance and vehicle driving speed were measured.SPSS software and binary regression were used to establish the driver’s heart rate growth rate and driving speed combined with the brightness reduction coefficient comprehensive influence model,then the value of the brightness reduction coefficient within a reasonable range was obtained.ANSYS software was used to simulate the temperature field of the road surface in the tunnel.The relationship between the tunnel surface temperature and the friction coefficient was analyzed.The gap value of the vehicle braking distance in the two seasons of the tunnel was considered,through the study of the tunnel ventilation system,the piston wind effect generated by the vehicle entering the tunnel was also considered,the law of the cross-sectional pressure and wind speed of the tunnel was analyzed,and then the required ventilation volume of the tunnel accounts for the proportion of the designed ventilation volume of the tunnel was obtained.Finally,the highway tunnel safety monitoring and early warning system was developed.The system integrated indicators such as tunnel light brightness,gas environment,tunnel road surface temperature,traffic volume,and driving speed.The various indicators in the tunnel in time were monitored comprehensively and efficiently.Based on this,managers can formulate plans and take measures to improve the safe operation of highway tunnels.
