| Sodium silicate,as a basic product,has a common demand in the market and widely required in textile,chemical,machinery,agriculture etc.It also has usage in other industries and plays an important role in the national economy.At present,the demand of sodium silicate products is growing rapidly due to the pulling effect of the market and the increase of export quantity.However,due to the low market access threshold of such products,many production lines are built one after another,so the market competition becomes very fierce.In order to get the most profit from the product and service,the important condition is to seize the opportunity.It forces the companies must to deliver products to customers with the fastest speed and the best quality.This paper is research on sodium silicate products of H Company to improve the product lead time by used the Lean Six Sigma management.Lean Six Sigma is one of the most advanced management methods.It combines the essence of lean production and six sigma management and will achieve good improvement effect in production and management if it is reasonably applied by the company.The paper used the tool of lean production-value flow diagram to sort out the whole process of production,find out the two key points which affected the lead time: long production cycle and delivery time extension caused by product quality problems rework.Using Lean tools and DMAIC process to design solutions to these problems,through the actual operation to verify the design,and finally achieved good results.At the end,through the evaluation of the improvement effect and the prospect of the future of the industry,the improvement results can be consolidated,developed and promoted.This paper hopes to help H company grasp the opportunity,stand at the front of the industry and advance with the times in this historical stage of industry 4.0.Meanwhile,it provides some ideas for other industries. |
