The filter cartridge dust collector effectively control industrial dust pollution,with high dust control efficiency and moderate resistance.The filter cleaning is one of the important process in the operation of the dust collector.Pulse-jet cleaning is widely used at present,but it has a serious problem of patchy cleaning.This paper studied a new type of opposing pulse jet cleaning,numerical simulation and experimental observation were combined to investigate the evolution of the flow field of the opposing pulse jet flow.The main contents are as follows:1)From numerical simulation,it was found that,the collision of the opposing jet in the filter cartridge with a shorter length or a smaller diameter is more severe.In the filter cartridge with small length,the static pressure generated by pulse injection is concentrated in the small core area of the filter cartridge,and less on the side wall of the filter cartridge;while the collision in the long filter cartridge is relatively smooth,The generated static pressure can act on more filter cartridge walls.The injection pressure in the filter cartridge with a small diameter is high and the range is large,and the injection pressure in the filter cartridge with a large diameter is small and the range is small.2)The pulse jet start time difference Δt has a significant impact on the impact jet performance in the filter cartridges of different lengths and diameters.Generally speaking,the blowing intensity has a bimodal distribution with Δt,and the blowing intensity corresponding to Δt> 0s is generally greater than that corresponding to Δt<0s;the variation of the uniformity of injection with time difference appears to correspond to the blowing intensity.Inverted bimodal" distribution.3)Experiments show that,compared with the top injection,the bottom injection with a longer injection pipe produces lower injection intensity and consumes more compressed gas.The pressure on the inner wall of the filter cartridge increases first and then decreases with the time difference Δt between the top and bottom injection start,and the pressure peaks appear in the area of Δt = [-0.040,0.100] s.When the time difference is 0.001 s,the average pressure peak value of the upper,middle and lower three measuring points can reach the maximum,which is 3.036 kPa,and the coefficient of variation is 0.484.If the spraying method is adopted,the spraying intensity can be increased to 3.541 kPa(4.53 times than the tranditional top-only pulse jet),and the coefficient of variation can be reduced to 0.480.
