Environment is the basic premise of human existence and development.For a long time,China has always attached great importance to ecological construction and environmental protection.However,due to natural,historical and man-made reasons,China’s ecological environment is still very severe,protecting the environment,reducing environmental pollution and curbing the trend of ecological deterioration is a long-term important and arduous task faced by the government and society.In recent years,while gratifying results have been achieved in China’s ecological environmental protection,incidents such as "Qin Ling illegally built villas" and other serious damage to the ecological environment have also occurred frequently.The causes are mostly related to environmental protection administrative inaction.The main factors related to environmental protection administrative omissions are: the establishment of environmental protection institutions is unreasonable,the administrative law enforcement methods of environmental protection are relatively old,some environmental protection law enforcement personnel are not high quality,the investment of environmental protection funds is not enough,the supervision system of environmental protection administrative omission is not perfect,and the system of environmental protection administrative omission relief is not perfect.The responsibility for environmental protection administrative omissions is not in place,and the environmental protection administrative omissions are not perfect.The inaction of environmental protection administration is very harmful.As a result,it will inevitably lead to a reduction in the credibility of the government,hinder the sustainable development of society,affect economic construction,and damage public interests.In order to effectively prevent administrative inaction of environmental protection,reform and exploration are urgently needed.It is necessary to make efforts from setting up vertical environmental protection agencies,innovating administrative law enforcement methods for environmental protection,improving the quality of environmental protection law enforcement personnel,increasing investment in environmental protection funds,improving the supervision system of environmental protection administrative inaction and improving the system of environmental protection administrative inaction relief,so as to making great efforts to improve the law enforcement level and efficiency of environmental protection departments,promoting their administration according to law,performing their duties,protecting the ecological environment.To safeguarding the country’s public interests and citizen’s environmental rights and interests,realizing the sustainable development of human beings and nature,economy and society,leaving a blue sky,green land and clean water production and living environment for future generations.
