As an important part of the economic market,enterprises use their own resource allocation capabilities to integrate various production factors and provide goods or services to the market.While they continue to create value,their own value has also attracted much attention.As an important means and way of analyzing enterprise value,enterprise value evaluation is gradually meeting the needs of the development of the times,constantly innovating and improving its own theoretical methods.In recent years,our country has continuously released the vitality of enterprises and paid more attention to innovation-driven development strategies.With the support of national policies,various industries have developed vigorously,including the carbon fiber industry.As a representative of new materials,our country’s carbon fiber industry has broken the blockade of foreign technology and equipment through long-term independent research and development,and has achieved initial development results.However,there are still more prominent problems such as backward key technologies,high production costs,and weak market competitiveness.Therefore,the value evaluation of carbon fiber companies can not only help us objectively show the value of companies in the industry,but also find problems in the company during the evaluation process,and seek solutions to the problems to help the company develop healthily.This paper first introduces the research background and research significance,and analyzes the relevant research literature on corporate value evaluation at home and abroad.It is concluded that early foreign scholars paid great attention to theoretical research,while domestic scholars paid attention to applying foreign research results to all parts of our country.After that,this paper expounds the research ideas,research methods and innovations,sorts out the context of the whole paper,and clarifies the main research objects and the problems to be solved.And next,this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the carbon fiber industry,including the business operation model of carbon fiber companies,the characteristics of the company,and the considerations for evaluation.Among them,when describing the realization mode of the enterprise,this paper takes the global carbon fiber leader Toray Corporation of Japan as the introduction object.It not only describes its business model,but also pays attention to its success.These valuable experiences are worthy of reference by domestic counterparts.Then this paper chooses the evaluation method and evaluation model of the carbon fiber enterprise value evaluation.After comprehensively considering the characteristics of carbon fiber enterprises and the advantages and disadvantages of various enterprise value evaluation methods,this paper selects the discounted free cash flow model and the discounted economic profit model in the income method,and also selects Weihai Guangwei Conformity Material Co.,Ltd.,a representative enterprise in the domestic carbon fiber industry,as a case enterprise for evaluation.Finally,this paper uses two models of the income method to evaluate the case companies.Through the evaluation results and the stock price trend of the enterprise,it can be seen that carbon fiber is a promising and potential industry.However,some problems are found in the evaluation process,such as the high proportion of depreciation cost,large amount of accounts receivable and long payback period.Although some of them are caused by the business characteristics of carbon fiber industry,they should still be paid attention to by enterprise managers.In general,the discounted free cash flow model and the discounted economic value added model are suitable for the value evaluation of carbon fiber companies such as Guangwei Composites.Since few scholars have evaluated and analyzed related companies in this industry before,I believe this paper can provide a reference case for the evaluation work in this field,and it can also provide help for the future development of the enterprise.
