As the basis of urban extension and development,the environmental quality of street space is related to the overall image and style of the city.In urban design,strengthening the environmental optimization of street space,meeting the living needs of urban residents,inheriting and protecting the historical memory of the city can play a role in improving the image of the city.With the improvement of economic level and aesthetic consciousness,people’s tolerance of traffic noise is declining,which puts forward higher requirements for the quality of street space including acoustic environment.It is imperative to combine pedestrian’s evaluation of traffic noise with street space design.Based on the analysis of the influence of pedestrian space perception and audio-visual interaction on traffic noise evaluation,this paper takes the living street near the car road in residential area as the research object.Firstly,objective data collection and subjective questionnaire survey are used to understand the pedestrian space perception and sound field distribution characteristics of different building space forms,Secondly,through the virtual reality experiment to explore the influence law of street view space perception on different types of traffic acoustic comfort,and the influence law of pedestrian space perception on different sound levels of traffic acoustic comfort.The purpose is to study the influence of living street near human space perception on road traffic noise evaluation,and put forward the street space design strategy combined with the concept of acoustic comfort.According to the building space form on both sides,the living street in residential area can be divided into five types: unilateral open space,bilateral multi-storey residential,bilateral commercial podium,unilateral public building and bilateral high-rise residential.The two-sided commercial podium street has the strongest encirclement and continuity,and the weakest imaginability;The continuity of one-sided open space street is the weakest,that of two-sided high-rise residential street is the weakest,and that of one-sided public building street is the strongest.The results show that the equivalent continuous A-level and cumulative percentage sound level of multi-storey residential street on both sides are the highest,and the noise pollution is serious.The sound environment of open space on one side and high-rise residential street on both sides is relatively comfortable.The influence of street view spatial perception on the evaluation of road traffic noise was studied by correlation analysis and regression analysis.Five typical spatial forms of living street space images consistent with the subjective questionnaire survey were used,combined with different types of traffic sound of 60 d B(A).The influence of street view spatial perception on the evaluation of traffic acoustic comfort of different vehicle passing frequency and different vehicle types was studied.The results show that the improvement of the objective parameters such as the aspect ratio of enclosure,the visibility of sky and the meandering degree of imagery can improve the evaluation of the acoustic comfort of different types of traffic sound;It is beneficial to improve the pedestrian’s hearing comfort in the section with small traffic flow by controlling the line sticking rate at 21%-41% and the interface density at 0.26-0.46;The imageable green vision rate has little effect on the acoustic comfort of different types of traffic.According to the correlation between objective parameters of pedestrian spatial perception and subjective loudness evaluation,we selected the enclosed aspect ratio,continuous interface density and imaginable green visibility as the variables of VR street model to construct different pedestrian spaces,combined with 50-70db(A)sound level of steady-state traffic noise,This paper studies the influence of pedestrian space perception on the evaluation of traffic acoustic comfort at different sound levels.The results show that with the increase of traffic sound level,the evaluation of acoustic comfort gradually decreases,and the pedestrian space with aspect ratio of 1.44,interface density of 0.5 and green vision rate of19.2% is more comfortable.From the perspective of pedestrian experience of street space,guided by the concept of acoustic comfort,according to the results of field research and experimental research,this paper puts forward a living street space design strategy based on user’s auditory perception and aesthetic experience.According to the components of living street space,the design contents are proposed respectively.Through the combined application of design contents and optimization methods in street space,the design examples suitable for different building space forms of streets are made,which provide guidance and reference for urban design,living Street architecture and landscape design,and traffic noise control management.
