Since the reform and opening up,China’s economy has achieved rapid development,but China’s future development path can no longer follow the previous 30 years of rough development model and face the challenge of energy conservation and emission reduction transition.China’s position in the world environment has been transformed from player to leader.China’s goal of "reaching peak carbon by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060" reflects China’s determination,on the one hand,to take responsibility for the world’s climate change and its message of developing a green economy through energy conservation and emission reduction,but on the other hand,the ways to achieve this goal are still to be demonstrated and explored,and the road to achieving the goal is full of unknowns and challenges.Based on the historical background and demand of energy conservation and emission reduction in China,this paper selected the data of low-carbon energy patent technology transfer in China from 2011 to 2019 from the Incopat patent database,and analyzed the characteristics of China’s low-carbon energy technology transfer network and the positions of regions in the network by using social network analysis method.In addition,based on the obtained data of low carbon energy patented technology inflows in regions from 2011 to2017,combined with other macroeconomic data affecting carbon emission intensity,the econometric analysis model is used to analyze whether the transfer of low carbon energy technology has an impact on carbon emission intensity in each region.The study found that: the intensity of inter-regional patent transfer of low-carbon energy technologies in China has increased year after year in recent years.China’s low-carbon energy technology transfer network shows a clear core-edge structure,with the eastern coastal regions and developed regions in the core of the technology transfer network,some central and western provinces acting as intermediaries in low-carbon energy technology transfer,and the remaining less developed regions participating in low-carbon energy technology flows with lower intensity.There is a significant ’inverted U’ curve relationship between low-carbon energy technology inflows and carbon emissions intensity.When the inflow of low-carbon energy technologies exceeds a certain threshold,the inflow of low-carbon energy technologies has an emission reduction effect.The study reveals the current status of lowcarbon energy technology transfer between regions in China and the regional emission reduction effect of low-carbon energy technology transfer,which can help increase the knowledge of the extent of energy conservation and emission reduction construction in China and the formulation of relevant regional and industrial policies.
